He looks different from movie to movie and he has two names, Eric Mason and Ernesto Macias. To make things more confusing, various sources say he was born in either Mexico, England, or the US. All sources say he was born in 1927, but one source says he died in 2010 and another source says he died in 2017. It's like reading about 3 different people. Why the discrepancy in information? He did many movies and tv shows such as The Love Boat. The man is a mystery.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5950870977197068523.post-46970185821384300772020-04-24T03:16:34.352+01:002020-04-24T03:16:34.352+01:00Kiss of the Tarantula has mostly unknown actors ex...Kiss of the Tarantula has mostly unknown actors except for Ernesto Macias, also known as Eric Mason. He looks different from movie to movie. He has done many other movies and many TV shows.
According to a newspaper source, Kiss of the Tarantula was in production since 1972. It was filmed in December 1974 to January 1975 in Columbus, Georgia, around the same time period as the movie Jaws. It's somewhat similar to Willard and Carrie. The leading female character isn't really likeable. The movie is on VHS cassette and DVD,and is a time capsule to the 1970s, albeit a horrid time capsule. We get to see what 1970s Columbus, Georgia is like.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5950870977197068523.post-30565535261646831092020-04-23T11:45:58.668+01:002020-04-23T11:45:58.668+01:00Kiss of the Tarantula is one of the most disturbin...Kiss of the Tarantula is one of the most disturbing horror movies. The buried alive scene when Susan puts her sleazy uncle inside an airtight coffin and puts a dead body on top of him before closing the lid, is horrifying. It's very disturbing to watch. Absolutely monstrous inhuman cruelty.
Other very disturbing scenes in this movie is when Susan takes revenge on a bunch of young people in a Volkswagen beetle at a drive in. She wants to punish the young male punks who broke into her house and harassed her and who killed one of her pet spiders. But there's also two other people in the car who didn't do anything wrong to Susan. The two innocent young people are two young ladies.
Susan puts Tarantulas in the car and everyone in the car freaks out, and everyone gets killed except for one girl, played by actress Rita French. Almost everyone in this movie except Susan and her undertaker father suffers from severe arachnophobia. The scene where actress Rita French is sitting in the car crying as her friends have died is heart breaking. It's a very sad, disturbing scene. Later, she is taken to a hospital where she becomes a vegetable, scarred for life.
The writers, producers, and the director of this movie are sick, demented, and immoral.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5950870977197068523.post-84431616146982633902018-11-24T02:33:14.361+00:002018-11-24T02:33:14.361+00:00Kiss of the Tarantula is an unpleasant movie, whic...Kiss of the Tarantula is an unpleasant movie, which is obvious as its a horror movie. Different sources give different dates for this movie. 1972, 1974, 1975, 1976, and 1977 have all been given as dates. What year was this movie really made? All we know is its a 1970s something movie filmed in Columbus, Georgia. Ernesto Macias is actor Eric Mason who plays Uncle Walter.
The funeral home/mortuary setting of this movie is repulsive. The movie exudes death the way a funeral home exudes death. The girl's undertaker father is the only person in the movie she cares about. The spiders in the movie are scary, but what's scarier and worse than the spiders is the buried alive scene at the end of the movie where the girl buries her sleazy uncle alive inside an airtight coffin. That's just monstrously cruel, inhumane torture. Suffocation and claustrophobia are the worst forms of torture, a fate worse than death. That's just demented. How could a girl be capable of such monstrous physical cruelty? Obviously she has no conscience. Anyone who would enjoy watching this disgustingly cruel, monstrous spectacle is demented and immoral. This is a demented, immoral, repulsive movie.Alexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16113388150949998158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5950870977197068523.post-50634519734281350362017-11-23T05:38:21.693+00:002017-11-23T05:38:21.693+00:00It is worth a look if you can stand the spiders bu...It is worth a look if you can stand the spiders but don't expect too much!!!Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17742330964990995982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5950870977197068523.post-57728453653897644232017-11-23T05:35:17.310+00:002017-11-23T05:35:17.310+00:00Thanks!!I feel the same way. This was uncomfortable...Thanks!!I feel the same way. This was uncomfortable to watch because of the spiders!!It's not for everyone..Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17742330964990995982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5950870977197068523.post-16123398747463087252017-11-23T05:08:42.558+00:002017-11-23T05:08:42.558+00:00I do not like spiders either.
