The Lost Episode Movie Review 276
The Lost Episode is a 2012 low budget horror movie directed by Michael Rooker(Yes, Merle from The Walking Dead!) and also starring him and Haylie Duff and Beverly Mitchell(Seventh Heaven).
The premise is pretty simple- a group of teens go to an old abandoned asylum which is meant to be haunted because of bad things that happened to the patients there. They are the usual kids who go where they shouldn't and there are lots of fake outs and false scares. The leader of these kids is an idiot who has a tale to tell about a film crew who were making a ghost programme for TV there and they disappeared and were never heard from again. So, we cut to the crew who consist of Megan(Duff),Sarah(Mitchell) and some others who are in the film crew. They enter the building after being told to clear off by some weird guy called Willard(J. LaRose). He follows them inside and you just know that he is some sort of ghost or something.
The rest of the movie cuts between the annoying teens and the film crew and their inevitable deaths when a mad doctor(Rooker) catches them and performs his horrible experiments on them. He steals the show with his performance and that is all that this movie has to offer. He is good but the rest of them are dull, boring and just irritating. This movie doesn't have much in it that you won't have seen before. In fact, it is just a below average haunted house movie with nothing new. Rooker is the only reason I watched it and I liked his performance. It is his first time directing so I have to cut him some slack. Other than that, this movie has nothing good about it. It has all been done before and done better. I am giving it a 3/10 and that is just because of Rooker.

House at the End of the Street Movie Review 275
House at the End of the Street is a 2012 thriller directed by Mark Tonderai and starring Jennifer Lawrence and Elisabeth Shue.
The movie begins with a young girl killing her parents and running off.Cut to four years later and Sarah(Shue) and her daughter Elissa(Lawrence) are moving into a new house. There is a house across from them and they are curious about it. They discover from the locals that the house is where the young girl called Carrie -Ann killed her parents and went missing four years ago. She had a brother called Ryan(Max Theriot) who wasn't there at the time of the killings. He came back and is now living in the house alone. The locals think that he is a bit weird. The local cop, Weaver(Gil Bellows) chats to Sarah about it and he tells her that Ryan isn't that bad.Elissa meets him and they get along and it isn't long before they begin a relationship much to the disapprovement of Sarah who is wary of Ryan.
It turns out that Ryan is a psycho who has his sister Carrie-Ann chained up in the basement and he is keeping her there so she won't kill anyone. Ryan gets picked out by local youths and he hurts one of them. Elissa finds out about Carrie-Ann and she doesn't know what to think. She discovers that it is not his real sister, but a student that he kidnapped and made into his sister. He realises that he has been caught and he knocks Elissa out and puts her in the basement too. He tells her that Carrie-Ann died when he was very young and he feels guilty about it. He wants her to be the next Carrie-Ann. Sarah is worried about Elissa when she doesn't come home and she suspects that she might be at Ryan's. She calls Weaver and asks him to call over and check. He does so and he hears something. He gets stabbed by Ryan and falls into the basement.
Elissa escapes and locks Ryan into the basement. He has a key and he lets himself out and chases her.
He catches her and puts her into the boot of his car. Sarah comes over looking for Elissa. He stabs her and throws her into the basement with Weaver. Elissa manages to grab Weavers gun and shoots Ryan. He isn't dead and Sarah finishes him off with a hammer. Cut to end of movie, mother and daughter and moving on. We discover that Carrie-Ann was actually Ryan. His parents turned him into their dead daughter and made him live that way and that's why he bumped them off...This film is bad- really bad. It started off okay and then it just went downhill all the way. It was not scary at all. There was very little suspense and the characters were just irritating. Avoid it. I give it 2/10.

American Horror Story, Season 2, Episode 8
Last week, Grace was killed instead of Kit by Frank, the security guard. This week begins with a crazy guy who kills a Santa and takes his suit. Cut to a year later and he is in Briarcliff as a patient. His name is
Leigh Emerson(Ian McShane) and he went on a killing spree, killing 18 people in one night. Sr. Jude punishes him constantly. A year later and Sr. Jude has been fired and Sr. Mary Eunice is running things. It is Christmas and she is putting up a tree decorated with things she takes from the patients. Frank is starting to panic as he tries to figure out what to do after killing Grace. Arden tells Sr. Mary Eunice about Frank. She decides to do something about him. Sr. Jude shows up at Briarcliff. She has realised what Sr. Mary Eunice has become and she tries to get through to her but gets interrupted before she can. She is thrown out.
Emerson is still locked up in Briarcliff and he is in solitary after he attacked an orderly in the past. Sr. Mary Eunice visits him and she gives him a Santa suit and lets him mix with the others. Sr. Jude goes to the Mother Superior to get her help. She wants to get back to Briarcliff. Arden goes to see Sr. Jude and tells her that he needs her help to get Sr. Mary Eunice back to herself again. He will help Sr. Jude to get back into her job. He tells her that the other nun is in trouble and she needs her help. The Monsignor visits the asylum and is very impressed with Sr. Mary Eunice. He thinks that she is doing an excellent job.
Lana visits Kit and tries to tell him about Thredson. He is being sedated so he isn't sure that Lana is real. She realises that Sr. Mary Eunice is not going to tell the police about Thredson and that she has to get to a phone to call the cops and tell them.
Dr. Arden lets Sr. Jude into Briarcliff to help Sr. Mary Eunice. She wants to get her alone. She waits in the office for her. Emerson attacks Frank as Sr. Mary Eunice wanted, but he doesn't manage to kill him so she does it and blames it on him. She lets him out of his cell again and locks him in with Sr. Jude. It turns out that Arden has double crossed Sr. Jude and now Emerson is going to kill her. Thredson shows up at Briarcliff looking for Lana. He finds her and tries to kill her. He has cleaned his house from top to bottom so there is no evidence of his crimes. Kit saves her and they tie Thredson up and leave him in a storage room. Emerson hits Sr. Jude with her own cane and proceeds to kill her, but she manages to get a knife and she kills him...
