So, the finale is here. This season has been short, but oh so good. The last episode saw Mick with Oscar and Nena following Brian and Rebecca as they go to find Danny and anyone else who Mick has taken at Mick's lair. Brian and Rebecca are still driving along. Mick gets a flat tyre and he has to fix it. Nena grabs Mick's knife from her husband's neck. Mick has killed Oscar already and she is going to kill him. Except, she can't. Mick is too clever for her. He grabs his knife from her and hits her. Brian and Rebecca come to Mick's place. They look around for Danny. They discover an underground tunnel. They go into it. Rebecca wanders around and she finds dead bodies hanging up.
Clearly, this is Mick's playground.
Brian is looking for gas for the truck. He wants to get out of there. Mick arrives back. Brian hides.
Mick carries Nena into his place. He dumps her into his tunnel. Mick can hear Rebecca as she has disturbed his dog. Brian has to go into the tunnels too. Rebecca steps onto spikes that have been put in the ground and impales her foot. Mick sets his dog after her. Brian is going to leave Nena there as he gets his gas. Rebecca finds Danny, who has been tortured. Kelly is there too. She releases them. Mick catches Brian, who is going. Brian tells him he will leave and say nothing to anybody. Mick believes him. Brian heads off.

Rebecca tells Kelly to go. She and Danny stumble through the tunnels. Danny is in a bad way and you know that this won't end well. Brian realises he has no keys to the truck and he has to go back down and get them. He kills Nena when she won't give them up. Mick comes back and finds out what Brian has done. Brian tries to tell Mick that they are the same. He isn't a psychiatrist, but he is an inmate of a psychiatric hospital. He has killed and he is crazy. He thinks that he and Mick understand each other, but he annoys Mick, who shoots him dead. Mick traps Rebecca and Danny in a cage with the gas. He tells her that he will keep her alive for a long time. She and Danny agree that they need to die. They agree to blow up the gas and hopefully kill Mick too. They blow up his tunnels. Kelly escapes. She grabs her phone too. She wanders around the outback and meets Mick, who tells her that she will die as there is no town for hundreds of miles. He leaves her to die. The episode ends with Mick watching the news about the disappearance of the tourists. Post credit scene has Kelly on the ground. She is on her last legs when her phone rings. She goes to answer it.

What a fantastic finale! I loved it. It was full of action and we got to see inside Mick's lair. It was brilliant and I really enjoyed it. It is interesting how the ending is left open now. Mich made an error in not killing Kelly. Will she survive and get rescued? Will she tell people what happened? Will people come after Mick? There are so many possibilities. I really hope that there will be another season of this. I know that there will be a third movie, so I am hoping that there will also be a third season. I will watch it!! All in all, a great second season which was more than I could have hoped for.
So, everything is getting really exciting as we near the end of this great season. The group saw lights up ahead and they figured it was an old mine. Kelly has been captured by Mick. She wakes up in his lair. She grabs a rock from the ground. He comes in and demands to know here the others are. She hits him with the rock. That doesn't go down well with Mick. Rebecca, Brian and the others find the mine. They see a young boy called Danny. His father,Spence, is there too. He sees the state that they are in and he wants to help them. He tells them that the mine was shut down years ago. Mick sees the mine and he goes inside to investigate.

He meets Spence and they talk. Spence offers him a drink, which he accepts. Mick asks him where the group are. He threatens him. Spence tells him, but Mick kills him anyway.Oscar sees that Mick is here and he runs off the tell the others. Rebecca finds the body of Spence's wife and the son is missing too, suggesting that Mick has killed him too.The group get together and try to decide what to do. Oscar and Rebecca decide to go and get the truck going so they can escape. They will come back and get Brian and Nena and they can all go. Mick is after them.

He comes after Rebecca and she dodges him.She and Brian are in one truck and Oscar and Nina are in the other, or so she thinks. Mick has caught them and he gets into the truck with them. He follows behind Rebecca and Brian, who think that Oscar and Nena are fine. Wow. This episode had so much happening!!! Mick was at his terrifying best and the group are really in trouble now. The mine setting was creepy and Mick took no prisoners as he murdered the family. The finale is next!!!Already!!
This time, Rebecca is not happy with Brian because of what he did. Nena wants a funeral but Rebecca thinks that they should move on. Rebecca covers the body to shut her up. Steve is lying on the side of the road and he is in a bad way. He is found by two Aboriginal men who are driving along.
He tells them what happened. One of the men mentions a 'spirit man' and it could be Mick. They seem to know about him. He wants to look for Kelly who is wandering around. They agree to help him to look for her. Unfortunately, they are not the only ones who are looking for Kelly. Mick is on her trail and he is very close to getting her.
The other group are walking through the outback. There is nothing in sight. Cut to Steve and the guys who are in their truck. A shot hits the truck. Who could it be? Nena gets bitten by a snake and this adds a load of trouble to their plight. Brian shoots at it and this draws Mick's attention. Mick shoots at the guys in the truck. He shoots one with a bullet to the neck and kills the other. Steve is caught by Mick. Kelly is safe for the moment as Mick is busy. She finds one of the guys' rifles and she goes after Mick, planning to shoot him. The still living Aboriginal man goes to a camp where he meets a healer. He tells him what happened.

Steve is tied up and Mick laughs at him. Kelly turns up with the rifle, but she is no match for Mick and he stabs Steve to death and captures her pretty easily. He brings her along with him in his truck which does not bode well for her. Suddenly, Mick seems unwell. Something is happening to him. Along come the two Aboriginal men and the healer guy has put some sort of spell on him, making him weak. He seems to be dying or something but he pulls out a gun and he shoots the two guys dead. So much for that! They might know the land, but so does Mick and he is a match for them.
The others are still walking around when they see lots of lights. It is an old mine and they are heading for it. Mick brings Kelly back to his home which isn't going to be fun for her...
Brilliant episode once again. I loved this one. I found the scenes with the Aboriginal men very interesting as they are like Mick in some ways. They know the land as he does and they are very much in tune with nature. He got rid of them pretty easily, though. There was a lot happening here and the story is really moving along which I love. The only thing that annoys me is the character of Nena. I was hoping that the snake would finish her off!! She is very irritating. Other than that, this was a great episode.
This episode begins with the aftermath of the explosion. Everybody is upset. Rebecca thinks that they should move to a better place. Nena won't leave her dead daughter. Michelle has very serious burns. Brian thinks that Michelle is going to die and he thinks that they should just leave her behind. The others disagree with him. They decide to carry her with them. They set off to find somewhere more suitable to camp. Oscar realises he has forgotten his blood pressure medication so Rebecca and Brian decide to go back to the wreck and get them, plus some water. They are there when they see a blue truck coming. It's Mick!

Rebecca makes a fire to distract him and then she and Brian get into his truck and take his rifle and mess up his fuel tank so he will be stranded. Rebecca is going to shoot him, but Brian stops her. Mick is annoyed when he sees what they have done. He goes about fixing it himself. Brian and Rebecca go back to the others. They all move on. They are walking along when they see headlights. They shout and scream, hoping that it is someone who can help. It isn't. It is good old Mick and he isn't going to help them. A storm forces them to look for somewhere to hide. They find shelter in a cave. Michelle is in a very bad way, so Brian smothers her to put her out of her misery.
Another great episode. The survivors are really getting desperate now. I like the cat and mouse element to the story. Mick could just kill them if he wanted to, but he enjoys the game and that makes it really interesting. We don't know who is going to survive and what Mick will do next. I really enjoyed this episode.
Last time, we saw Mick murder the tour bus driver and take his place. This episode begins with everyone wondering what happened to Davo. They do not think that Mick is any way threatening, though and accept his excuse that Davo had to leave in a hurry. Mick stops the bus for a break and while everyone is walking around and chatting, he tinkers with the water. A park ranger shows up and asks Mick about Davo. He tells her that he is around somewhere and offers to show her where. They go off together. Unfortunately for her, Mick is lying and he kills her and throws her off of a cliff. Mick heads back and he meets Richie who is asking him questions. He is annoying Mick. Everyone drinks the water.

As Mick starts the bus again. everyone starts to feel drowsy and they fall asleep one by one. When they wake up, Mick has disappeared and they are stranded in the middle of nowhere. The battery has gone from the bus and the satellite phone has also gone. Who took them? They wonder is something has happened to Mick and Johnny and Danny wander off to look for him. Nobody misses Richie who has been taken by Mick. Mick hits him over the head and he buries him up to his neck. He puts a termite mound over his head and leaves him to die. Back at the bus, the others find Davo's dead body and things become very tense.

Johnny and Danny meet Mick finally but it is not what they expect. That night, the others hear weird noises in the outback. They look around with their torches but there is nothing there. They wonder if it was Danny or Johnny. Suddenly, shots come at them. One of them hits the gas tank of the bus and blows it up with two people inside. Others are injured. This is when they realise something is not right. This was a great episode with a brilliant ending. Mick just steals the show in this. We are losing some characters, but I don't think it matters. This is great stuff.
So, a new season of this great show is here. I loved the first one and I was looking forward to this.
The episode begins with Mick(John Jarratt) who is buying a gun and some ammo from a guy. They chat and Mick leaves the shop. He returns shortly afterwards and kills the owner. Cut to a couple called Danny(Charlie Clausen) and Rebecca(Tess Haubrich) who are going on a coach trip into the Australian outback. There are a bus full of people going too. They have a tour guide called Davo(Ben Oxenbould). Mick is prowling around also. The group sets off.

They camp for the night. Danny and Rebecca are having marital problems and they meet a guy called Brian(Matt Day) who happens to be a psychiatrist. They chat with him. They stop for petrol and Davo meets Mick who asks him where they are going. He tells Davo that he should give them a fright just for a laugh and Davo doesn't think that it's a good idea. Mick takes this the wrong way and he and the driver part ways. Mick looks at the bus and he counts the passengers. Cut to the tourists who are all having a great time. Mick is following them. The bus stops at a roadhouse. All of the tourists are asleep. It seems abandoned. Davo goes inside and looks around. There is nobody there. He goes in to use the bathroom and when he comes out to wash his hands, Mick appears. He freaks him out and he kills the driver. The next morning, the tourists awake and the are surprised to see that they have a new driver- Mick!!!

This was a great opening episode to this new series. I really enjoyed it. I love the Wolf Creek franchise and I have looked forward to this for a while. Anyway, this is well worth a look if you enjoy the movies or the first series. I can't wait for the next episode!!!
This episode begins with Eve going to see Ben to force him to tell her where he was held. He tells her that it is called Wolf Creek. She finds a scrap book under Johnny's head and she looks at it. There are newspaper clippings about a missing child. She was Mick's sister and she disappeared when she was out with Mick and a man approached them. He offered them sweets. Mick refuses it and they run off.
When Mick got back home, his father punished him for losing his sister. Cut to Hill, who is chained up in Mick's place. Mick is waiting for Eve. She buys a can of petrol and heads off to get Mick.
She arrives at his place and looks around. There is a body under the floorboards.
Mick comes and he tells her that the body is one of his parents. Eve looks around and she finds Hill in Mick's shed. He catches her and gives her a choice. She can kill Hill quickly or he can kill him slowly. She discovers that Mick killed his own sister. He kills Hill but not before Hill brings down the ceiling on him. Mick isn't dead. He gets back up and he throws his knife at Eve and hits her on the shoulder. She throws her javelin at him and pins him to the wall. She stabs him and she thinks that he is dead. She finds Hill and tells him that she got Mick. He dies in her arms.
She sets fire to Mick's place. She goes away, thinking that Mick had died. The next day, she goes back but there is no trace of Mick. She lays Hill to rest and then the cops turn up. She disappears.
She ends up meeting the lady truck driver from earlier and she gets a lift with her. The old man who helped her sees her leaving. The series ends with Mick back on the road.. This series was great. I loved it. It matched the movies perfectly and John Jarratt was excellent as Mick. I really hope that there will be more episodes! It was so well made and so faithful to the original movie. I liked the character of Mick and I liked that we got to find out more about his past. I am glad that he wasn't killed off. Let's hope that there will be a season two!
We are coming close to the end of the series now and things are really hotting up. Eve is working in a bar now. She has been living with her co worker in a mobile home. She happens to see a man who was in the files and she wants to talk to him. She sees Mick who comes into the bar and she goes to the cops but loses her nerves before she can tell them anything. Mick realises that something is up and he goes outside. Eve tries to follow him and she memorises his licence plate. She is behind him but she has to pass him. He drives past her and she lets him. He looks back at her and he knows that it is Eve.

She calls Hill and tells him that she has found the guy. She tells him the number plate and he looks it up for her. It is from a stolen truck. He finds out where she is living and he catches up with her. He tells her that she should go home. He wants her to leave it to him but she refuses. He decides that they should work together to get Mick. Hill sees Mick in his truck and he pulls his gun. He follows him but Mick is one step ahead and he stabs him in the side. He takes him away. Meanwhile, Eve goes to see the man who was in her files. His name is Jesus and she talks to him about Mick. His name is Ben and he was the guy from the original Wolf Creek movie. He was crucified by Mick and he seems to have lost his mind.

Eve returns home to find that Mick has been there and he has sent her a message that he has Hill. She runs to the local cop and finds that he has been killed. She has no choice but to go and look for Hill herself. She gets herself a gun and she buys a dog trap. She tells her friend to tell Mick where she is.
She goes to an old graveyard and waits. Her friend sees Mick and she tells him where Eve is. The bikers overhear this and they go to get her too. It so happens that Johnny, the escapee has heard and he is going there to help her. He knows one of the bikers and he tells him to get away or else. He finds Eve and she tells him about Mick. They kiss. She takes some painkillers and falls asleep, While she is asleep, Mick arrives and takes her gun. He also beheads Johnny. Eve wakes up and sees what has happened.
This was a great episode with loads happening. Very good stuff.
This episode begins with Mick walking over to the van but it is not Eve but other tourists. He kills them. Eve arrives in Opalville looking for Mick. She talks to the mother of a missing girl who might have been killed by Mick. She tells her that she is doing a story about her daughter, but the father doesn't believe her. He did something to his daughter. He turns out to be a nut and he attacks the mother and then turns on Eve. She pulls her gun, but he gets it away from her and they fight. She ends up getting bitten by a snake and crashing her van.
She wakes up at a campsite with an old man. He has saved her life. Hill heads back to the roadhouse and he asks about Eve again. He discovers that it is for sale. She tells him that Eve was headed for Opalville. Meanwhile, Eve talks to the old man and he shows her how to throw a spear, but she is able to throw a javelin already. Hill is at the site of the tourist murders and he finds a shotgun shell.
Eve leaves the old man and sets off on her own again. She runs into the mother from earlier and finds her burying her husband who killed himself .She gives Eve a jeep to help her. She runs into Hill who chases her, but she gets away. She picks out another place to go and gets a tattoo. Mick has the woman from the roadhouse captured and he is going to kill her.
Another great episode with lots happening!
This episode begins with Eve meeting the guy from the roadhouse, Kevin. He tries to rape her, but she pretends to go along with it and then gets her gun. She shoots him in the leg. He is shocked and she tries to help him. She offers to take him to hospital, but he won't let her. She leaves him there on the side of the road. She cuts off her hair to change her image. Kevin sees a truck coming and he flags it down. Who should it be only Mick. Kevin tells him about Eve. Eve stops at a roadhouse and she talks to the woman behind the counter, Bernadette(Deborah Mailman) and asks her if she has seen anyone with a blue truck. She hasn't.

Eve helps a prison officer who has an epileptic fit. The bikers are looking for Eve too. Hill gets called in to see a dead body hanging from a tree in the outback. It is Kevin. Eve's van breaks down and she has no way of changing her tyre as she left her jack at the roadhouse. Mick turns up at the roadhouse and asks Bernadette about Eve. She says that she hasn't seen her. Mick drives past Eve who realises that it is him, but she is stuck. The prison officer who Eve helped before has another fit and he crashes a van full of convicts. They all die except for one. The bikers are at the roadhouse looking for Eve, Bernadette tells them that she saw a girl and that she had a van. The convict guy gets out of the van and he walks until he comes upon Eve. She helps him and he helps her with her tyre and leaves.
Eve finds a campsite with a rabbit's head on a stick. She gets caught by Kane who knocks her out.
She wakes up and realises what has happened. Her dingo gets her her gun and she shoots him dead.
Hill shows up at the roadhouse looking for Eve. He gets no information. He finds Kane's dead body.
Mick comes back to the roadhouse and he asks about Eve again. The bikers swear vengeance for the death of their pal. Eve goes back to the roadhouse and talks to Bernadette again. She tells her about Mick and where he is heading. He is waiting for Eve and he sees a van and shoots the tyres out and approaches it. Is it Eve?
Another great episode with loads happening. Brilliant series so far. Everything is heating up nicely now.
This episode begins with Eve catching herself in a trap. She meets a dingo and it jumps into her truck. She has to stop at a gas station and she meets some locals who are leering at her. She washes her injured foot. One of the locals, Kev(Matt Levett) tries it on with her and she is saved by a woman truck driver called Ruth(Rachel House) who has a shotgun and she is a bad ass. She offers Eve help and they chat. Eve asks her about a blue truck, but she hasn't seen it. She patches up Eve's foot and heads off. She manages to crash her truck into a police car and a bag of weed is found inside of it.
Eve is taken to the local jail where two men are also incarcerated. One of them is a biker called Kane(Richard Cawthorne) and she asks him if he knows a guy with a blue truck.
Hill arrives and tries to get Eve out of the jail, but he can't. She escapes through the window and she makes her way to his motel room. They chat. She is found by the cops in the motel, but she manages to escape again and jumps into a truck which is driven by a pal of Kane who has just been released.
She ends up at their house. She looks around and finds a bag of cash and a gun. She is seen but she runs off. They chase her. Hill is also looking for her. Meanwhile, Mick has his eye on two tourists who have broken down. He offers to tow them back to his place where he can fix their car. They are reluctant to accept his offer. To Mick's annoyance, a car full of guys shows up and helps them instead. Mick has to go away without his kill.
Kane is looking for Eve and he asks at a pub if anyone has seen an American girl and that she is looking for a blue truck. Mick happens to be there and he hears this. Eve gets a new van. This was a very good episode. This series is really great, Mick is the psychopath that we know and love and the pace of this show is nice and fast. There are no dull scenes here.
Well, when I heard about this TV show I was very happy as I am a big fan of the Wolf Creek movies.
I was disappointed that it is only a six episode season, but hopefully, there will be more.
The first episode begins with a family travelling through the outback in The Northern Territory in Australia. It is a very remote area. They are Americans and they find a spot to park beside a billabong. What they don't realise is that the water is infested with crocodiles. The young son goes swimming and almost gets eaten, but he is saved by a man called Mick Taylor(John Jarratt) who shoots the croc. The mother and father are both cops in the U.S. and they are with their young son and their daughter, Eve(Lucy Fry)on vacation. Eve has had a problem with drugs in the past and the trip is meant to help her recover.
Mick seems friendly enough and they talk to him. Eve gets bored and goes back to their caravan with her headphones on. She doesn't hear or see Mick murdering her family. He comes into the caravan and tries to get Eve but she runs away from him. He shoots her as she runs and she falls into the river.
He assumes that the crocs will get her so he leaves. He dumps the bodies and burns out their caravan.
Eve wakes in the water later and she is found by two birdwatchers. She is taken to hospital where the cops talk to her. They think that her dad might have gone crazy and shot the rest of her family, but she tells them that there was a man with a blue truck.
She goes to the cop station and talks to the investigator Sullivan Hill(Dustin Clare) about what happened. They seem to bond. She discovers that there are lots of other missing tourists in the area.
Hill thinks that she should go back home to America and leave the investigating to him. She is going to go but she changes her mind. She goes into the cop station and steals the files of the missing people and she gets herself a van. She promises her family that she will get revenge for the death of her family. A very good first episode. I liked it a lot and it follows on from the movies which is great. Jarratt is great as Mick. I am looking forward to the next episode.
