The Office Season 6, Episode 4 Recap

So, this is what we have been waiting for! Jim and Pam's wedding is approaching and everyone in the Office is excited about it. Pam is feeling sick a lot these days with the pregnancy and the smells around the office don't help. Dwight refuses to cease having his hard boiled eggs at his desk and Pam vomits which sets everyone else off too.. The gang get ready to set off for Niagara Falls. Dwight has taken the guest list and found all the women on it and he has googled them on the Internet. He tells Michael about the single ones.


They all drive to Niagara Falls and check into the hotel. Michael has not booked his room, so he tries to share with Dwight who doesn't want him too in case he wants to take a woman back there. Michael tried to get the others to share with him,but they wont. Jim and Pam's families are there and they have the rehearsal dinner. Michael wants to make a speech, but Jim doesn't want him to. He has his best man to do that and Michael is not happy. Meanwhile, Pam's grandmother doesn't know about the pregnancy and they don't want to tell her as she is old fashioned and she wouldn't approve. Pam's mother is at the wedding alone and her father is with his new girlfriend which makes things very awkward.


Jim breaks his own rule when he lets it slip about the baby and Pam's grandmother is shocked. He is furious with himself. Pam's granny is going home but Michael has a chat with her and she doesn't.Dwight sleeps with one of the bridesmaids.In a very funny scene, Andy is doing the splits when he tears his scrotum(ouch!). He has to go to the hospital and Pam has to take him. Dwight is mean to the girl he slept with and dismisses her when she tries to talk to him afterwards. Kevin has a very dodge hairpiece! It is time for the wedding and Pam tears her veil and she is upset. She and Jim disappear and everyone is waiting in the church for them.


After a while, the wonder if they are going to get married at all,but they turn up just in time and the wedding goes ahead with people dancing down the aisle!!! Everyone gets up and dances and it is a happy affair. We see that earlier, Jim and Pam went to the Niagara Falls and got married by the captain of the ship. So, later, we see Michel and Pam's mother going back to her room for some fun.... This was a very good double episode of The Office. It was funny and sweet. I will be back next week with more...

The Office, Season 6, Episode 3 Recap

So, I just want to say before I do my recap that this Jim/Michael co- manager thing doesn't sit right with me at all. It just seems a bit wrong and I don't get it. I love the Office, but this storyline isn't great. Hopefully, it is just temporary and they change it back... So, last week saw Jim and Michael become co-managers. This week, Dwight needs someone to sign his expense report and he runs to Michael who refuses because he thinks that it is Jim's job. Jim tells Dwight to say please, which he won't. Then, Dwight runs back to Michael to complain about Jim and vice-versa. Dwight is annoyed that HE didn't get the promotion and he doesn't like having Jim as his boss. Pam is being asked by people about wedding presents and she tries to persuade them that she would like money instead of a present, but people don't seem to get the hint. David Wallace calls Jim and Michael and tells them that there isn't enough money for raises for everyone in the office. The two of them have to decide what to do. Jim decides to give raises to the salespeople only.

He steps up and tells everyone in the office and they get really mad at him. Michael stands in the background and watches Jim get a taste of what Michael had to put up with before. Jim retreats into his office with Michael and they both wonder what to do. Then Michael comes up with the idea of giving people a raise based on Merit and they put every one's picture on the table and use beans to see who is most deserving of a raise. Of course, they can't keep it secret for long and Dwight shows everyone how they are calculating the raises. Pam sees that she has no beans and she is annoyed with Jim. Everyone begins to bicker over it and Jim and Michael hide out in their office while the others are angry with them. Dwight tries to stage a coup but nobody will back him up and he has to back down. Michael and Jim talk and Jim admits that he didn't realise how hard it is to come up with the big decisions. They share a drink and pretend that they are not in the office when people knock at the door. Ryan persuades Pam to invest in some shady deal that he has going instead of giving her a wedding present. I will be back with more Office next week...

The Office Season 6, Episode 2 Recap

This week we are on the second episode of the new season and things are really changing around the office. Michael calls Oscar into his office to ask him about having a colonoscopy. Oscar is horrified for obvious reasons...(Watch the Clip Above).We cut to David Wallace, Michael's boss who is in the office to chat with Jim. Needless to say, Michael is very curious and he is wondering what is going on. He has a sneaking suspicion that Jim is after his job since he and Pam are getting married and expecting a baby and he wants to get ahead now.

Michael is worried and he tries to spy on them and see what is happening. He asks Pam if she knows, but she won't tell him anything. He goes around the office looking at them and trying to see if he can figure out a way to find out what they are discussing. Meanwhile, Pam is going around the office looking for RSVP's for people coming to the wedding. She asks most of them, hoping that they won't be able to make it, but it turns out that they will. Pam and Jim are getting married in Niagara Falls and they had been hoping that it would be too far for people to travel. She asks Kelly and she asks Ryan. They both tell her that they will be going. She asks Meredith who tells her that she will be there too. Pam is worried now.

Michael interrupts David and Jim and he is told to go away by David. He finally gets Andy to make up a cheese platter for them and he sneaks into the trolley so that he can listen in but he is too late. David calls Michael into his office and tells him that Jim is looking for a promotion and that he wants Michael's job. I thought that this was really stabbing Michael in the back and it didn't sit right with me...But anyway, David asks Michael what he thinks of Jim and how would Jim do as a manager. Michael gives him a bad reference and David decides not to promote him after all. Jim finds out about this and confronts Michael who calls David and changes his mind about the promotion. They decide in the end that Jim and Michael will be co-managers which I think is a bit silly. Michael is always the boss and I think that is the way it should stay. Dwight is crushed!!! The Office, Season 6, Episode 1 Recap

The Office is back this week and the first episode was a very funny one. All the regulars were in it and of course, there were some great laughs in this one. Michael, Dwight and Andy enter the office jumping around trying to copy moves called Parkour which was invented by some French guy. It involves jumping from one place to another in a unique way. It is very funny...Andy decides to jump onto a box which he assumes contains a refrigerator but he discovers too late that it is empty...There are rumours flying around the office about Stanley. There are three interns finishing up their last day working in the office and one of them spotted Stanley out in a club with some woman who was NOT his wife! So, Michael finds out about this and he sets about telling EVERYONE in the office because he is usually left out when it comes to the gossip(Watch the clip above!). He confronts Stanley about it and he admits that he has been cheating on his wife. Michael feels bad then and he tries to spread rumours about everyone else in the office to make people think that the rumour about Stanley was NOT true! He says that Andy is gay and that Pam is pregnant(which is actually true!). He says that Dwight uses store-bought manure.

Everyone confronts him at once and he tries to get away but he can't. He tries to talk his way out of it, but Jim speaks up and tells everyone that they are expecting a baby and that takes the focus from Stanley. In the end, Michael speaks to Stanley's wife and the truth comes out which makes Stanley VERY angry!!He is seen smashing Michael's car. Pam and Jim are happy and look at their scan picture. Andy is still confused about his sexuality.One of the interns is Asian and he says that Michael calls him Jet Li!!! This was a very funny episode and it is a good start for this series.. I can't wait for the next episode!!!

The Office Season 5 Episode 13 Recap/Discussion

In the video above is the absolutely brilliant pre-opening credits scene from The Office Season 5 Episode 13 called "Stress Relief".The highly planned fired drills that were practiced go out the window when Dwight sets up a small fire and does not tell the rest of the office that it is not real!! Absolute pandemonium as it is every man or woman for himself! The cameras get run over in the chaos,Oscar climbs up into the ceiling,Angela takes out her cat that is hidden in a drawer,Michael smashes a window with a chair,Kevin loots the canteen snacks after smashing it open and Jim and Andy try to use the photocopier to smash open a door!!! Oscar falls through the ceiling getting stuck halfway and Dwight lights firecrackers!! Andy shouts "The fire is shooting at us" before Dwight admits it was all just a drill.Oscar drops down from above and Stanley then collapses with a heart attack as they all try to help him.

This opening scene was one of the funniest ever and will go down as a classic! Next time you do a fire drill just think of this and what can really happen! The Office is a show that seems to get better and better with each episode and this episode proves it.If you have not seen it yet then try to catch it soon as it is very funny.Michael and Dwight get called to main office where Michael ingeniously turns the tables and acts like a head manager giving Dwight a small penalty instead of firing him!! When Stanley gets back from the hospital Michael decides to have a CPR class as "he knew exactly what to do but in a much more real sense he had no idea what to do" That is a very funny line from a boss in denial!!! When they do the CPR class they cannot pump the dummies chest in proper time but when told to pump to the tune of the BeeGee's song Staying Alive an impromptu sing song begins! Each singing badly and it is hilarious! As in theory the dummy has died, Dwight carves it up looking for the heart to give to an organ donor and then carves off the face of the dummy putting it on his face! Obviously a reference to Silence of the Lambs!!

Then the story branches off to Pam,Jim and Andy watching illegally downloaded movies on a laptop! The movie they are watching is a movie that is starring Jack Black and Jessica Alba in a very funny Cameo!! Pam's parents are having marriage problems and Jim tries to help.Dwight has to get everyone in the office to sign his letter of regret due to his actions with the dummy and fire drill!! Michael tries relaxation techniques with the entire office to help Stanley relax but really his techniques are just him talking quietly with a candle!! Stanley's beeping blood pressure monitor reveals that Michael is his source of stress and when Oscar wears the monitor Michael stresses him out too.Basically Michael is stressing everyone out!!!!

Due to this Michael decides to hold a roast in honour of himself so everyone can say what they want to Michael! Of course everyone gets up and makes fun of him and it all gets out of hand! Andy rounds it off with a song on his guitar about what he hates about Michael.Michael as usual did not expect all the hate and staggers out the door! He does not show up to work the next day and some people think he may be dead! He is not dead and cameras reveal him to be at a children's playground throwing out bread! He thinks he is in a park!! Dwight fools Phyllis into signing for a package and she was the last signature that he needed on his letter of regret so he is happy! Andy is then shown crying at the end of the movie that has a very funny scene with Jack Black!!! Then Pam says to Jim that her dad is leaving her mother due to Jim saying he loves Pam so much and that her father does not have that type of love with Pam's mother.

Michael arrives back at the office with little roasts of everyone written down.He runs through them all and Stanley begins to laugh with all the put downs.Then everyone laughs at the jokes so Michael's goal of stress relief is achieved and all is well in the office again! The end scene of Jack Black's very old lover cheating on him was brilliant too! This show has got to be one of the best comedies on TV at the moment and yet again this was a great episode.From the fire drill to the CPR scenes and to the roast, it was all very funny.This episode lasted 41 Min's and I think was a special Superbowl episode as it normally would not be that long.Another hilarious episode! The Office Season 5 Episode 11 and 12

I hope that you watch this show too as I love this show! What show? The Office of course.Amanda and I like to sit down and watch it and laugh away! Did you see the two most recent episodes? Episode 11 was called "The Duel" and episode 12 was called "Prince Family Paper". The Duel was about how Michael told Andy that Dwight was sleeping with Angela and Andy and Dwight had a duel in the car park! This was a brilliant episode that had these two lovable idiots arguing and Andy drove his car into Dwight who got stuck in the hedge! Everyone was looking out the window at them and Jim struggled to keep control in Michaels absence.Meanwhile Michael thought he was in trouble after being ordered to go to headquarters in the city.They really wanted to know why his branch was doing so well! Naturally Michael had no answer and just rambled on playing for time.This was a classic episode! Some classic lines in it.Lines such as "What weapon?" "My bare hands" "That's stupid I'll use a sword and cut off your hands" See a brilliant scene here!

Episode 2 was about how the company wanted to know about how a small opposition paper company was doing business and Michael and Dwight get dispatched to find out about them.They make up elaborate cover stories and end up getting their client list! Even though they are very nice people Michael knows that they can now run them out of business and feels bad.Dwight has no scruples and says to send it to main office so they end up chasing each other around with the list! Back at the office a huge debate begins about Hilary Swank! Is she hot or not? Half the office go one way and half go the other.As they are split everyone gives their point of view complete with pointers and projections of her face for analysis! That was a great episode too! Overall "The Duel" was the better of the two but this show is very funny and is definitely a must watch! It is based on the English version which is also brilliant.The American Office is a little more wacky as in the stories are more out of the ordinary.Dan Carell is very good as the Boss who thinks he is great and wants to be liked! Dwight and Andy are so funny too!
