Happy Christmas To Everyone!!!!!!!!

Happy Christmas to all who visit Jigsaw's Lair!!!!!!!!! I hope that you are having or had a great day!!! It will depend on what time you are reading this of course!! I hope that you are enjoying your day with your family and loved ones.You should be making sure to be watching a favourite movie of yours on TV or on DVD.Hopefully recommended by us or just a personal favourite of yours! One of my personal favourite non-horror Christmas related movies is Planes,Trains and Automobiles.Before you put finger to the typing keys to tell me it is a Thanksgiving movie, I know that already! We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Ireland so in my mind it is a Christmas movie! When the kids are put to bed or you just want a scare then it may be time for a horror movie!

So Happy Christmas to you and I hope you like the pictures of Kitty and Felix trying to get into the Christmas mood! I can tell you it was very hard to get the Christmas outfit on Felix and I had to take it off straight away! I think Kitty would be too big for the jacket so I didn't try it on her! Hopefully the pics put a smile on your face like they did to mine!!!!!!

My Cat drinking Irish Whiskey!!!!!

To celebrate Halloween I decided to have a drink! Then I was joined by my cat Kitty who promptly stole my drink the minute my back was turned!!! She gets very thirsty sometimes and I should have known better to leave my drink unattended! Who would have known that she has a taste for some Irish Whiskey?? Fortunately, I had my camera at the ready to document the event for you! The music playing over the video is from Irish drinking songs for cat lovers and is by Marc Gunn. I advise you to check out his website and buy some of his stuff as it is very good indeed! His website is here!

Before you comment thinking that I am crazy, it is only water that she is drinking of course!!!!

Cat Battle for Catnip Cushion!!

Here are some videos that I just thought I would share as they make me smile when I watch them and I hope they have the same effect on you!! I bought a Catnip Cushion and wondered would my cats even look at it,never mind play with it! They loved it and you can see how they got on here!!

Here Felix starts off playing with it but soon Kitty wants in on the action!



In this video after a short tussle they lie down and roll around with the cushion together taking turns and then they both get very tired!! I hope you like these two videos!

My Cat Felix Purring very Loud!

Here's a video of Felix getting a nice rub from me and as you can tell he loves a rub! He purrs very loud so make sure you turn up the volume! You can hear the little bell on his collar, ring as I rub his head and he will constantly butt into me for more and more. He would go for ages with a rub and it usually only ends with my hands getting too tired!! He needs constant attention and will literally meow at me to rub him if I stop! Its blackmail with love! Cute kitties!

My two little cuties are back! Kitty and Felix are willing to share a few more pictures with you.
They have selected some which are appropriate so I will put them on. Cats are great company. I was ill recently and I had to stay in bed. Kitty and Felix sat on the bed and stayed with me the entire time! Cats are very intuitive and I have to say that they will be getting an extra treat for all of the time they have spent in bed taking care of their owner!

My Two Kitties!

I just wanted to put my two favourite cats on the blog as I feel that they are so cute that they need to be shown off. Kitty is the older of the two and she is more mature and smart. Felix is the younger and the more mischievous of the two. He has been known to destroy a whole roll of toilet paper in one go! He is also prone to playing with anything he can get his paws on! The two of them are the best of friends now, but when Felix first arrived, there was a showdown! Kitty was the boss of the house and she didn't take kindly to this little ball of fur trying to take over so she hissed at him and she tried to attack him when he was first in the house. Over the weeks, they became closer and now, they are inseparable. I guess it is like people- you either get on or you don't. Sometimes, it takes a while to get to know people and you can end up being the best of friends with someone you didn't like at first. That's what happened here. I am putting on some pictures so you can see how great Kitty and Felix are. I am fascinated by cats and I always have been. They are majestic creatures and they deserve to be treated as such!!

Cats at Christmas!

As its Christmas I decided to show off my two pet cats again! They are Kitty and Felix.Kitty is older than Felix and Kitty is female and Felix is male.Needless to say as Kitty is female she is more trouble than Felix!!! I previously posted about Kitty here and Felix here.

Here they are two in a bed! Where one starts and the other ends god only knows! Its just a mass of paws and tails! Felix is on the left and Kitty on the right! As you can tell they are the best of friends and always sleep together.They are like people and don't like the light being turned on when they are sleeping.Felix is very affected by light and usually just has his eyes like this picture! Kitty is the type of cat that sleeps with one eye open!

Here is a nice picture with the two of them doing what they do best......sleeping! The cat nap pillow is in the background so this is one of my favourites.I took all these pictures and this one makes them look like a cat with two heads! They always sleep very tight together as you can see from these photos! I hope you like these photos as much as I do!

Kitty

Here is my other cat Kitty!
She likes nothing better than to be left alone to look out the window as you can see.She likes her cat food and will always insist on eating first before Felix! I think she views him as her son or her younger brother.She is older than him and I had her first when he arrived.She was born in Tipperary but now she lives here in Cork.She is three and a half years old and is of a different temperament to Felix.She is more grouchy and doesnt like to be bothered if she is in a nice position on the couch! A nip on the finger is what you may get if you try to shift her as she will only leave when she is good and ready.

Different to Felix she likes to be picked up and carried around although the odd time she may resist attempts to pick her up by flattening her body to the floor! She knows this makes her hard to grasp! She doesnt miaow for a rub but will miaow for food and when she is travelling in the car.She really makes her protests heard until set free from her catbox.She does not get car sick but definitely its not her favourite place.

This pic is when I caught her ordering Catfood online and she looked up at me with those eyes to disarm me!

She likes to be rubbed all over and is known to use her head to butt you to get your attention.She loves being in front of a fire or a nice warm,cosy place.Be warned though! If you rub her underside in the wrong way she can give you a nip.Not a big bite but just a warning that you stepped out of line!

She has more white on her body than Felix and always sleeps with one eye open.Any movement wihin her area will get an eye following it and any sound of a cat biscuit box being shook will get her running to it! She loves looking out windows when the sun is shining and watching for birds flying where she begins her teeth chattering! This sounds very strange and is explained here. Shes a lovely cat and she likes to be treated like a queen!

Felix

Here is my younger cat named Felix! He looks particularly menacing here in the second picture but he is really just in mid yawn.He likes nothing better than a nice,dark corner to go to sleep in.He is especially vocal when he wants a rub and his purr is very loud indeed!

He doesnt like being picked up at all and will struggle to get down immediately.Felix is not a good traveller and is prone to car sickness but after a drink and some food hes himself again! For a cat he is very easy going and has never,ever clawed in anger.I have never known a cat liked that as they can sometimes be a bit cranky but he always seems in good form.
I found him roaming around when he was roughly 6 months old and he was starving.So Jigsaw ordered some cat food and TLC and after nearly a days sleep it was like he owned Jigsaw's Lair!!
He always jumps up on me when I come home and purrs loudly.I think he was a dog in a former life!



He is roughly two and a half years old and loves to play with my other cat Kitty.He is very inquisitive and is always looking for anything to play with! Felix is known to pick up things like pens and straws and run away with them.He has a very sleek and thin body as you may see from the picture and he has a very pinched style mouth area.He is mostly black with four white paws and a white underside.Sometimes its very hard to see if he has is eyes open as it looks like he has a mask over his eye area.He's so carefree that you can examine his paws or claws without fear of a scratch.If he could talk I think he might say "Take it easy,Dude.Why the rush?"
