The Evil Inside a.k.a. Dead Inside is a 2011 horror movie directed by Pearry Reginald Teo and starring
Hannah Ward, Matthew Mercer and Rayne Bidder.
The movie begins with Sarah(Ward) who has some psychological problems. She takes pills and she spends a lot of time staring into space. She is having some friends around for a party. She wanders around the house looking miserable with no lights on and stares a family pictures. Her friends arrive and the party begins but she is not in the partying mood. She tells them that they are all going to die and she can foresee their deaths. She sees what will happen to each of them. Her pals are not happy with this and they are going to leave when she tells them that she was just joking around. When one of her friends does die, then it becomes real and they wonder who will be next.

They begin to drop like flies and it is apparent that someone is killing them. Is it Sarah? It builds up to an obvious ending, in my opinion. Sarah is mentally ill after killing a friend who made fun of her. Her parents come to see her and she goes crazy, telling them that she killed people and they are all dead etc. She is in an institution and she is just mad, They are all figments of her imagination and the whole thing was in her mind. This film was awful. The acting was bad, the dialogue was bad, there were no scares and it was just so poor. Avoid this one at all costs. It really is rubbish. It gets a 1/10.
This episode begins with psycho Johnny breaking into the ruin of Briarcliff and listening to his mother's book on tape. He thinks that his dad, Dr. Thredson was murdered by his mother who never wanted him and that she kept him from being with his dad. He is revealed as Bloody Face who was killing people in the abandoned asylum. We cut back to 1971 and Lana and her crew are in Briarcliff to do an expose about the appalling conditions inside. They get footage and she looks for Sr. Jude's files. She finds out that that she was released into the care of Kit Walker. She goes to visit Kit and he tells her that Jude did stay with him for six months and she eventually met the Angel of Death and was taken away.

Back to present day and Lana is being interviewed about her life and career. The subject of Briarcliff comes up and she expresses regret over not getting Jude out sooner. She tells them that she lied in her book about her baby. She said that he had died when in fact, he was adopted and she saw him once. She tells them that Kit had cancer and disappeared. He was taken by aliens. The Monsignor killed himself over the horrible treatments in Briarcliff. Johnny is lurking in the background and listening to all of this. He approaches her after the interview is over and she is alone. He pulls a gun on her and tells her how much he hates her. She tells him that she was sorry etc about what happened and gets him to put down the gun. She then shoots him dead. End of season.

I liked this season of American Horror Story. It is good the way that the same cast are back but with different characters. It was interesting and I liked some of the stories. I am looking forward to the next season which is called Coven so I am guessing there are witches in there somewhere!!
Episode 14 begins with The Governor who is preparing some items in his workshop. Milton talks to Andrea and tells her that there is no hope of a truce between Rick and The Governor. He and Andrea look at him in his workshop and he is setting up a torture chamber. Andrea is disturbed by this. She is beginning to see him as he really is. Andrea is going to shoot him but Milton stops her telling her that if he dies, others will take over who are no better and that will not make things better. He advises her to make a run for it and warn Rick and company at the prison. Andrea goes to head over the wall. Tyreese and Sasha are guarding the perimeter and they try and stop her. She tells them that The Governor is not what he seems and that they should realise it. She leaves and they tell The Governor who makes them think that Andrea is crazy. He decides to go after Andrea and kill her.

Andrea is followed by The Governor and he tracks her to a warehouse and tries to kill her. She lures him into a trap and leaves him to face loads of walkers. Thinking that he is dead, she reaches the prison and she is just going to shout to Rick when she is caught by The Governor who somehow survived the walker onslaught. Cut back to Woodbury and The Governor talks to Milton and Tyreese about Andrea and tells them that he didn't find her and that he hopes that she is still alive. She is in his workshop bound and gagged and waiting for whatever The Governor has planned for her....
Episode 15 begins with Rick deciding to hand over Michonne. He tells Hershel who is not happy and Daryl who agrees to support him. He then tells Merle who doesn't think that Rick will do it. Rick does change his mind and doesn't tell Merle who goes ahead on his own. He knocks out Michonne and takes her off. Daryl realises this and he follows them. Merle and Michonne talk about it and he tells her that he
is an outsider and so is she, He sets off a car alarm by mistake and draws a loads of walkers on them. He sets Michonne free and they fight them. He then tells her to go back. He has something to do alone. He heads off and tries to kill The Governor, but gets caught.
Daryl meets Michonne and she tells him what happened. He goes to look for Merle. Glenn and Maggie get engaged. Rick tells everyone that all decisions are to be decided as a group. He tells them about Michonne and Merle taking her. Michonne arrives back.Daryl looks for Merle and finds him- as a walker. He has been killed by The Governor and has turned. He has to kill him and he does so then cries...
Two good episodes. It is a pity that Merle was killed off, I liked his character and preferred him to most of the other characters in the show....
Last episode, Sr.Mary Eunice died and the evil went with her. Episode 11 begins with Kit who is taken to see Grace and his baby by Thredson. The Monsignor comes along to take away the baby. It turns out that Grace was abducted by aliens and implanted with a baby. Lana meets with the Mother Superior and she is told that there is information that will expose Briarcliff for the hellhole that it is. She gets her out and gives her the information. Thredson finds out but he is too late to stop her. Lana goes to his place with a gun and when he arrives home, she talks to him about what will happen to him when everyone realises who he is. He tells her that he will plead insanity and get put in a mental institution instead of prison. He tries to pull a gun on her and she retaliates by shooting him in the head. She is going to write a book about everything and she intends to get rid of the baby.

Time passes and we see Judy in the asylum. She is still there and she is disgusted with The Monsignor. He is tired of her and he has her put in a cell alone. Kit gets Grace out and he takes her to live with him. They get the baby too and become a family. Kit comes back to find his wife Alma waiting for him with a baby as well!! Lana wants to get rid of her baby but can't do it at the last minute. Later on she goes back to Briarcliff to get Judy out but is told that she is dead. Lana has the baby but gives it up. The episode ends with Johnny(Dylan McDermott) and a prostitute. He wants to treat her as his mother and he nurses on her. She makes him mad and he attacks her.He is Thredson's son.

Episode 12 starts years after the events in the last episode. Kit, Grace and Alma are living together in his house but it is not paradise. The children are living with them too. Alma loses it and he kills Grace with an axe. Judy is in Briarcliff still and she has an assumed name, Betty Drake because she is supposed to be dead. Briarcliff is going to be owned by the state and the inmates of the state prisons are being brought it. Judy thinks that one of them is the Angel of Death and has come for her. She has hallucinations and she is told this by her doctor. She has also imagined that she has been taking to Pepper who has been dead for years.Lana is reading from her book in a local bookstore when she meets Kit. He wonders why she hasn't managed to get Briarcliff closed. She tells him that she went there to get Judy out but she was dead.Kit tells her that Judy is not dead and that she is losing her mind inside there.

The episode ends with Johnny once again. He is seeking an autographed copy of the book years later.
He tells the owner of the bookstore that he is Lana's son but she doesn't think he is. He tries to bargain with her to give him the book, but she won't so he threatens her and she gives in. He tells her that he is going to find his mother and kill her....
Last episode, Emerson(Ian McShane) was prompted to kill Sr. Jude by Sr. Mary Eunice, but he failed and she stabbed him. Episode 9 begins with Lana talking to Sr. Mary Eunice who knows that she is pregnant. She enjoys telling her that she knows. Lana and Kit try to get Thredson to confess and they record him when he recounts his killings. He doesn't realise he is being recorded. Kit takes the tape and hides it. Lana tells Thredson that she won't allow the baby to live and she will abort it which she tries to do with a coat hanger. She is stopped by Mary Eunice who takes delight in telling her that the baby is fine and well inside her. Thredson gets out and escapes. The Monsignor has Sr. Jude committed and she is no longer a nun or the head of Briarcliff. She is just an inmate. He allows her to see Emerson who is not dead after all and he forgives her. She is horrified.

Kit and Arden talk about Grace whose body has vanished. Was it the aliens? He and Kit talk about them and Arden wants to allow Kit to die for a few minutes and then bring him back to see if the aliens will show up for him. They don't but a pregnant Grace shows up. She has somehow appeared back after being shot and killed. Jude is put in with Lana and the others and she tells Lana that she is sorry for everything and that she wants to get out. Emerson nails the Monsignor to a cross when he tries to baptise him. The episode ends with Johnny(Dylan McDermott) talking to his shrink and telling her that he is the son of Bloody Face/ Dr. Thredson and that is a killer like his dad.

Episode 10 begins with Kit waking up from his death experience and asking Arden if the aliens came for him. Arden tells him nothing happened. He doesn't tell him about Grace. Pepper(Naomi Grossman) has somehow turned into an intelligent person after being abducted by the aliens. She is the guardian of Grace and her baby now. Mary Eunice seduces the Monsignor and forces him to have sex with her.
He was told by the Angel of Death who visited him while he was on the cross that the Devil possesses Mary Eunice and he has to do something about it. He talks to Judy and tells her that he knows now that she was right about Mary Eunice. She tells him to kill her. Judy has been subjected to shock therapy and she is feeling very shaky. The Monsignor throws Mary off the balcony and kills her. The Angel of Death shows up and takes Mary and the evil with her.

Arden is so upset by her death that he takes her body down to be cremated and throws himself on top of it, burning himself alive. Dr.Thredson appears and he tells Lana and Kit that he will be staying at Briarcliff. They know that they need to take him down. He finds out about Grace and the fact that she is pregnant with Kit's baby. He tells Kit and blackmails him to give him the taped confession. Kit tells him where it is, but Lana has taken it and she tells Thredson that if anything happens to Kit she will give to the cops. Judy talks to her friend, Mother Superior and asks her to help Lana to get out as she doesn't deserve to be there.
Episode 12 begins with Rick, Carl and Michonne going to get weapons for their upcoming war. They pass a hitchhiker but don't stop to pick him up. They arrive at Rick's old Sheriff station and he looks for arms, but someone has taken everything. They are attacked by someone and Carl shoots him. They look under his mask to see who it is and it is Morgan who Rick first met in the very beginning of the series. He had promised to keep in touch via walkie talkie with Rick but they had lost contact. They take him back to his house which is rigged with booby traps. They see that he has all the guns etc and that he has been living alone, setting up traps everywhere. His mind has gone.

Carl and Michonne go and look for a crib for the baby but Carl wants to get something and he won't tell Michonne what it is. He wants to go off on his own, but she won't let him. They go to a cafe and Carl gets a picture of his family which was hanging up behind the counter. Michonne understands why he wanted to go and get it. They get ambushed by walkers, but somehow they survive. Rick and Morgan face off after Morgan wakes up and stabs Rick, not realising who he is.; They talk about what happened to Morgan's son. He was bitten by a walker and Morgan has been living in the house, just surviving since.
Rick asks him to come back and join his group but Morgan is happier on his own. They leave him to it and drive back, seeing the dead hitchhiker on the way. They take his backpack and drive on.
Episode 13 begins with Rick, Daryl and Hershel arriving at an abandoned shed and it becomes apparent that they are meeting someone. The Governor and Rick have arranged a meeting between them and they are going to talk about the upcoming battle and see if there can be some compromise. That is what Andrea thinks is going to happen anyway. The Governor is no fool, though and he has a gun pointed at Rick underneath the table even after dropping his guns in front of him. Rick puts down his weapon too and they talk. The Governor wants Rick to hand over Michonne and that will put an end to the war. Rick doesn't know if that is a good idea. They agree to come back to the shed and Rick will tell The Governor his decision.

Rick and the others leave. Rick tells his group that The Governor is going to try and kill them all. He was not fooled by his promises. He tells them that war is on. He talks to Hershel about what really happened and tells him about The Governor's offer. He tells him that he was tempted to hand her over. Hershel tells him that she has saved lives and that he can't trust The Governor. Rick knows this, but he is still tempted to give her over to The Governor in case he will keep his promise.. Two good episodes..Only a few left now, so there should be plenty happening in the next few weeks!
Buried Alive is a 2007 horror movie directed by Robert Kurtzman and starring Terence Jay, Leah Rachel and Tobin Bell.
Zane(Jay) is a college student who is going up to an old house owned by his family for the weekend. He
brings along his friend Phil, his cousin Renee(Rachel), his pal Danny(Steve Sandvoss) and two sorority pledges, Julie and Laura. They meet the caretaker of the place, Lester(Bell) who lives close by the house.
He is a weirdo and he was digging in the basement before they came. He was looking for gold which is meant to be buried there. Zane's great grandfather was suspected of killing his wife and burying her alive.
Renee has a necklace with a design on it that Zane gave to her. It belonged to the wife who was supposed to have been buried alive. It was found in the ashes of the great grandfathers house which burned down.
Zane begins seeing an old woman with a axe who looks evil and of course you know that she is the ghost or whatever of the wife who was murdered and she is looking for revenge on the descendants of her husband who killed her..
The rest of the film revolves around the kids getting murdered etc and the old woman showing up looking menacing. It is a mediocre film at best and there wasn't much to it. Tobin Bell was someway entertaining as Lester, but the rest of the cast were crap to put it bluntly. It was not a good film and I found myself looking at how much was left before I gave up on it. I hung in there and watched it all, but it isn't one that I would recommend. Silly and irritating after a while, this one gets a 3/10.
Last time, The Governor had launched an attack on Rick and the others. They survived it, but they know that that will not be the end of it.
This week, Hershel wants to get out of the prison, but the others are not so sure. The Governor has them pinned down. Carl and Hershel think that maybe Rick needs to stand down as leader and let someone else take over. Meanwhile, in Woodury, The Governor is rallying the troops and getting everyone ready for a war. He is arming people and Andrea doesn't like it. Milton, the scientist guy, is told to befriend her and get information from her about where her loyalties really lie. He and Andrea come upon Tyreese and his crew while they are out in the woods capturing a walker so that Andrea can head off to the prison and talk to Rick. Milton takes Tyreese and his group back to Woodbury and Andrea leaves.

She arrives at the prison but Rick and his group are suspicious of her. She wants to make peace with them and she tells them that they should try and come to some agreement with The Governor. Rick doesn't think that this is possible and he wants her to help them get into Woodbury and take them by surprise. She won't help them.Michonne tries to talk to Andrea about The Governor and tells her how dangerous he is. Andrea seems to know this, but she still won't abandon him. The Governor talks to Tyreese and his friends and asks them about the prison etc. He agrees to let them stay as long as they tell him about the layout of the prison.Andrea talks to the others in the group and she realises that maybe The Governor is a bit dodgy. She returns to Woodbury and when he is asleep, Andrea brings out a knife and contemplates killing The Governor but can't do it.
A good episode, everything is gearing up for a face off between the two groups!!Bring it on!!!

A man is in a tube station in London. He is trying to pick up a woman when he is attacked by someone.

He sends Detective Rogers(Rossington) to interview Alex and see what happened. Alex is brought into the station and the cops interview him. In the tunnels by the tube station, there are loads of dead bodies and Manfred is there. There is a hideous man living down there with his wife who is dying. He is feeding her the blood of his victims including Manfred's but she dies anyway.

People begin to disappear in the tube station. Rogers find out that there is some man living down in the tunnels. He asks Alex if he saw anyone else in the tube station that night. Alex didn't. The cops find blood in the tube station along with dead bodies. The blood doesn't belong to them and it belongs to someone who has horrible sickness. Alex and Patricia are in the same tube station when Alex gets stuck on the train, leaving Patricia alone. The weirdo grabs her and brings her down to the tunnels. Alex looks for her but he can't find her. He goes to the cops and tells them that she has gone missing. He decides to go down to the tunnels and look for her. The weirdo tries to rape Patricia but she manages to run off. Alex spots her and chases them. It all comes to a head and Alex attacks the weirdo and seems to have killed him. The cops arrive and everything is exposed. They find Manfred and they are looking through the bodies and the weirdo.

This was an entertaining movie. It is cheap with not much in the way of shocks or scares but it was fine all the same. I will give it a 5/10.
Last time, Rick saw Lori's ghost and freaked out. Daryl had left the group with Merle and The Governor was planning revenge against Rick and the others.
Rick sees Lori's ghost around the prison and he follows her around. Hershel is worried about him as he tries to get him to come to his senses. In Woodbury, The Governor is talking to Andrea and he tells her that he isn't fit to be the leader anymore and that he thinks that she should take over from him. Andrea talks to him about going back to the prison to see Rick and the others and he isn't too happy with that thought. Daryl and Merle are wandering around. Daryl is missing the group and he tells Merle that they should think about going back. Merle thinks that they will not want him. They come upon a few survivors who are fighting the walkers and they help them and send them on their way.

In the prison, the walkers are still finding ways inside and they are advancing. Rick is still in his dreamland and Hershel talks to him and manages to get him back to his senses. The Governor and a few of his men attack the prison and shoot Axel. There is a shootout and one of The Governor's men is killed but he doesn't seem too upset about it. He lets a load of walkers into the grounds of the prison and he goes back to the town happy. Rick is caught between two walkers when Daryl and Merle save his life. The walkers are all around the prison grounds now...
Another great episode. I am loving the evil Governor and it is good for Rick and the others to have an enemy to fight besides the walkers. It makes everything more interesting!!!
Last time on The Walking Dead, all hell was breaking loose in Woodbury. Daryl and Merle were pitted against each other as the crowd roared for them to be killed.Andrea saw Daryl and was shocked.
This episode begins with the Governor making Daryl and Merle face off. The crowd want them to fight to the death. Andrea tries to stop it but the Governor ignores her. Merle starts the fight by hitting Daryl. Rick and the others intervene and all hell breaks loose. Daryl and Merle manage to escape with them. Walkers get into the town and start to attack the residents. Rick's group argue over Merle. They don't want him to stay with them as he is dangerous. Daryl won't abandon his brother again and he decides to leave with Merle if they won't take him. Rick and the others don't want Daryl to go but he insists and he leaves them.

In the prison Tyrese and his friends are chatting with Hershel and the other survivors. Tyrese tells them that there were 25 in their group but the walkers killed most of them. Tyrese and Sasha are the leaders and they want to stay with the group. Meanwhile, with Daryl gone, Rick and the others argue. Rick wants Michonne to get lost too. In Woodbury, the locals are getting anxious and they want to leave. The Governor won't let them and threatens them with violence if they go. Andrea is caught up in the middle of it and she tries to convince them to stay. Rick arrives back at the prison and tells the others that Daryl has gone. Carol is very upset to hear this.

Andrea talks to the Governor about taking charge of his town. He seems to have gone mad. He tells her about Glenn and Maggie being there and she is shocked. She wants to know why he didn't tell her. He is beginning to turn on her as he wonders where her loyalties lie. In the prison, Rick talks to Tyrese and Sasha about them joining his group. He doesn't think that it is a good idea. Hershel tries to talk him round but then Rick sees Lori's ghost and he loses it. The others are afraid of him as he seems to be cracking up...A great episode with lots of action. I can't wait until the next one!!!
Blue Steel is a 1989 thriller directed by Kathryn Bigelow and starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Ron Silver.
Curtis stars as new cop Megan Turner. She is on patrol when she sees some guy robbing a supermarket. She gets out her gun and she tries to arrest him but he ignores her so she shoots him dead when he points his gun at her. She is disciplined for this by her bosses because the robbers gun was not found. It has been taken by a guy called Eugene Hunt(Silver) who was in the supermarket at the time and saw what Megan did. He is a psychopath and he goes around shooting people for no reason. He manages to meet Megan and they begin a relationship. Megan is unaware that he is a nut job.

Bodies begin to turn up around the city and the cops find a bullet with Megan Turner etched into it. They think that someone is obsessed with her and that she is in danger. They have to take her back into the force for her own protection. She begins to realise that Eugene isn't all there and he scares her with his weirdness. She figures out that it is him who is the killer and she tries to tell her colleagues. Her co worker, Detective Mann(Clancy Brown) does believe her and she tries to get Eugene arrested but he has a good lawyer and he comes out looking better than she does. He kills her best friend and he stalks her but she can't get him. She and Mann are on his case and they begin to become close.

Megan tries to get Hunt on her own but he is elusive. He tries to kill Mann but Megan saves him but shooting Hunt in the shoulder. She chases him but loses him. Hunt becomes more and more deranged and hears voices in his head. Mann and Megan sleep together but Hunt turns up and he shoots Mann.
He tries to kill Megan but he can't and he flees. Mann is taken to hospital. Megan goes back on the job and she finds Hunt. She shoots him but doesn't kill him. They chase each other and she gets shot too.
Finally she kills him and puts him out of his misery.
This was a good thriller with a good cast. It wasn't brilliant, but it was entertaining and I liked the leads.
I will give it a 6/10.
Maniac Cop 2 is a 1990 horror sequel directed by William Lustig and starring Bruce Campbell and Robert Davi.
The movie continues on from the first one. Maniac Cop Matthew Cordell(Robert Z'Dar) plunges into the river in a truck and he is assumed dead(of course, we know that he isn't!). He still stalks the streets killing again. Officer Mallory(Laurene Landon) and her partner Officer Forrest(Campbell) are cleared of all charges. They both tell the Police Commissioner Doyle(Michael Lerner) that Cordell is still alive. He insists that they both see police psychiatrist Officer Riley(Claudia Christian) for evaluation. They both tell her that they saw Cordell and that he isn't dead. Another cop called McKinney(Davi) is seeing her too because of the death of his partner.

Forrest is killed by Maniac cop and Mallory knows that it was him. She is very upset as nobody believes her. McKinney is investigating the case. He thinks that maybe Mallory killed him. Commissioner Doyle doesn't want Mallory going public about Cordell. Officer Riley begins to wonder if Mallory is telling the truth. Cordell is spotted around the city and the cops find out that there is some huge cop going around killing people. McKinney suggests to Doyle that maybe it is Cordell. Mallory is going on a TV show to talk about Cordell. She and Riley are going to the show together when they are chased down by Maniac Cop and he kills Mallory. Riley escapes and now she believes that Cordell has not been killed. He is back.

Reilly talks to McKinney about Maniac Cop and she tells him that she saw Cordell. She goes on TV with her theory but ends up looking crazy. Doyle is not happy with her and he wants her suspended. A killer called Steven Turkell(Leo Rossi) is on the prowl for victims when he comes upon Maniac Cop. He knows who he is and he approves of what he does. He gives him a place to stay and he thinks that they are best buddies! The cops go undercover to find the killer. They catch Turkell and stick him in jail. Maniac Cop comes for him and there is mayhem at the police station. He takes his new friend to Sing Sing where he was attacked and made into the man he is. He wants revenge for what happened to him.
He lets out all of the inmates and they take over the prison. Doyle has to admit that he was responsible for Cordell ending up in prison. Cordell attacks the guys who attacked him and he ends up being set on fire. They think he is dead, but you know he will be back! An average sequel. I will give it 5/10.
