Last time, Rick saw Lori's ghost and freaked out. Daryl had left the group with Merle and The Governor was planning revenge against Rick and the others.
Rick sees Lori's ghost around the prison and he follows her around. Hershel is worried about him as he tries to get him to come to his senses. In Woodbury, The Governor is talking to Andrea and he tells her that he isn't fit to be the leader anymore and that he thinks that she should take over from him. Andrea talks to him about going back to the prison to see Rick and the others and he isn't too happy with that thought. Daryl and Merle are wandering around. Daryl is missing the group and he tells Merle that they should think about going back. Merle thinks that they will not want him. They come upon a few survivors who are fighting the walkers and they help them and send them on their way.

In the prison, the walkers are still finding ways inside and they are advancing. Rick is still in his dreamland and Hershel talks to him and manages to get him back to his senses. The Governor and a few of his men attack the prison and shoot Axel. There is a shootout and one of The Governor's men is killed but he doesn't seem too upset about it. He lets a load of walkers into the grounds of the prison and he goes back to the town happy. Rick is caught between two walkers when Daryl and Merle save his life. The walkers are all around the prison grounds now...
Another great episode. I am loving the evil Governor and it is good for Rick and the others to have an enemy to fight besides the walkers. It makes everything more interesting!!!
Last time on The Walking Dead, all hell was breaking loose in Woodbury. Daryl and Merle were pitted against each other as the crowd roared for them to be killed.Andrea saw Daryl and was shocked.
This episode begins with the Governor making Daryl and Merle face off. The crowd want them to fight to the death. Andrea tries to stop it but the Governor ignores her. Merle starts the fight by hitting Daryl. Rick and the others intervene and all hell breaks loose. Daryl and Merle manage to escape with them. Walkers get into the town and start to attack the residents. Rick's group argue over Merle. They don't want him to stay with them as he is dangerous. Daryl won't abandon his brother again and he decides to leave with Merle if they won't take him. Rick and the others don't want Daryl to go but he insists and he leaves them.

In the prison Tyrese and his friends are chatting with Hershel and the other survivors. Tyrese tells them that there were 25 in their group but the walkers killed most of them. Tyrese and Sasha are the leaders and they want to stay with the group. Meanwhile, with Daryl gone, Rick and the others argue. Rick wants Michonne to get lost too. In Woodbury, the locals are getting anxious and they want to leave. The Governor won't let them and threatens them with violence if they go. Andrea is caught up in the middle of it and she tries to convince them to stay. Rick arrives back at the prison and tells the others that Daryl has gone. Carol is very upset to hear this.

Andrea talks to the Governor about taking charge of his town. He seems to have gone mad. He tells her about Glenn and Maggie being there and she is shocked. She wants to know why he didn't tell her. He is beginning to turn on her as he wonders where her loyalties lie. In the prison, Rick talks to Tyrese and Sasha about them joining his group. He doesn't think that it is a good idea. Hershel tries to talk him round but then Rick sees Lori's ghost and he loses it. The others are afraid of him as he seems to be cracking up...A great episode with lots of action. I can't wait until the next one!!!
Blue Steel is a 1989 thriller directed by Kathryn Bigelow and starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Ron Silver.
Curtis stars as new cop Megan Turner. She is on patrol when she sees some guy robbing a supermarket. She gets out her gun and she tries to arrest him but he ignores her so she shoots him dead when he points his gun at her. She is disciplined for this by her bosses because the robbers gun was not found. It has been taken by a guy called Eugene Hunt(Silver) who was in the supermarket at the time and saw what Megan did. He is a psychopath and he goes around shooting people for no reason. He manages to meet Megan and they begin a relationship. Megan is unaware that he is a nut job.

Bodies begin to turn up around the city and the cops find a bullet with Megan Turner etched into it. They think that someone is obsessed with her and that she is in danger. They have to take her back into the force for her own protection. She begins to realise that Eugene isn't all there and he scares her with his weirdness. She figures out that it is him who is the killer and she tries to tell her colleagues. Her co worker, Detective Mann(Clancy Brown) does believe her and she tries to get Eugene arrested but he has a good lawyer and he comes out looking better than she does. He kills her best friend and he stalks her but she can't get him. She and Mann are on his case and they begin to become close.

Megan tries to get Hunt on her own but he is elusive. He tries to kill Mann but Megan saves him but shooting Hunt in the shoulder. She chases him but loses him. Hunt becomes more and more deranged and hears voices in his head. Mann and Megan sleep together but Hunt turns up and he shoots Mann.
He tries to kill Megan but he can't and he flees. Mann is taken to hospital. Megan goes back on the job and she finds Hunt. She shoots him but doesn't kill him. They chase each other and she gets shot too.
Finally she kills him and puts him out of his misery.
This was a good thriller with a good cast. It wasn't brilliant, but it was entertaining and I liked the leads.
I will give it a 6/10.
Maniac Cop 2 is a 1990 horror sequel directed by William Lustig and starring Bruce Campbell and Robert Davi.
The movie continues on from the first one. Maniac Cop Matthew Cordell(Robert Z'Dar) plunges into the river in a truck and he is assumed dead(of course, we know that he isn't!). He still stalks the streets killing again. Officer Mallory(Laurene Landon) and her partner Officer Forrest(Campbell) are cleared of all charges. They both tell the Police Commissioner Doyle(Michael Lerner) that Cordell is still alive. He insists that they both see police psychiatrist Officer Riley(Claudia Christian) for evaluation. They both tell her that they saw Cordell and that he isn't dead. Another cop called McKinney(Davi) is seeing her too because of the death of his partner.

Forrest is killed by Maniac cop and Mallory knows that it was him. She is very upset as nobody believes her. McKinney is investigating the case. He thinks that maybe Mallory killed him. Commissioner Doyle doesn't want Mallory going public about Cordell. Officer Riley begins to wonder if Mallory is telling the truth. Cordell is spotted around the city and the cops find out that there is some huge cop going around killing people. McKinney suggests to Doyle that maybe it is Cordell. Mallory is going on a TV show to talk about Cordell. She and Riley are going to the show together when they are chased down by Maniac Cop and he kills Mallory. Riley escapes and now she believes that Cordell has not been killed. He is back.

Reilly talks to McKinney about Maniac Cop and she tells him that she saw Cordell. She goes on TV with her theory but ends up looking crazy. Doyle is not happy with her and he wants her suspended. A killer called Steven Turkell(Leo Rossi) is on the prowl for victims when he comes upon Maniac Cop. He knows who he is and he approves of what he does. He gives him a place to stay and he thinks that they are best buddies! The cops go undercover to find the killer. They catch Turkell and stick him in jail. Maniac Cop comes for him and there is mayhem at the police station. He takes his new friend to Sing Sing where he was attacked and made into the man he is. He wants revenge for what happened to him.
He lets out all of the inmates and they take over the prison. Doyle has to admit that he was responsible for Cordell ending up in prison. Cordell attacks the guys who attacked him and he ends up being set on fire. They think he is dead, but you know he will be back! An average sequel. I will give it 5/10.
The Lost Episode is a 2012 low budget horror movie directed by Michael Rooker(Yes, Merle from The Walking Dead!) and also starring him and Haylie Duff and Beverly Mitchell(Seventh Heaven).
The premise is pretty simple- a group of teens go to an old abandoned asylum which is meant to be haunted because of bad things that happened to the patients there. They are the usual kids who go where they shouldn't and there are lots of fake outs and false scares. The leader of these kids is an idiot who has a tale to tell about a film crew who were making a ghost programme for TV there and they disappeared and were never heard from again. So, we cut to the crew who consist of Megan(Duff),Sarah(Mitchell) and some others who are in the film crew. They enter the building after being told to clear off by some weird guy called Willard(J. LaRose). He follows them inside and you just know that he is some sort of ghost or something.

The rest of the movie cuts between the annoying teens and the film crew and their inevitable deaths when a mad doctor(Rooker) catches them and performs his horrible experiments on them. He steals the show with his performance and that is all that this movie has to offer. He is good but the rest of them are dull, boring and just irritating. This movie doesn't have much in it that you won't have seen before. In fact, it is just a below average haunted house movie with nothing new. Rooker is the only reason I watched it and I liked his performance. It is his first time directing so I have to cut him some slack. Other than that, this movie has nothing good about it. It has all been done before and done better. I am giving it a 3/10 and that is just because of Rooker.
House at the End of the Street is a 2012 thriller directed by Mark Tonderai and starring Jennifer Lawrence and Elisabeth Shue.
The movie begins with a young girl killing her parents and running off.Cut to four years later and Sarah(Shue) and her daughter Elissa(Lawrence) are moving into a new house. There is a house across from them and they are curious about it. They discover from the locals that the house is where the young girl called Carrie -Ann killed her parents and went missing four years ago. She had a brother called Ryan(Max Theriot) who wasn't there at the time of the killings. He came back and is now living in the house alone. The locals think that he is a bit weird. The local cop, Weaver(Gil Bellows) chats to Sarah about it and he tells her that Ryan isn't that bad.Elissa meets him and they get along and it isn't long before they begin a relationship much to the disapprovement of Sarah who is wary of Ryan.

It turns out that Ryan is a psycho who has his sister Carrie-Ann chained up in the basement and he is keeping her there so she won't kill anyone. Ryan gets picked out by local youths and he hurts one of them. Elissa finds out about Carrie-Ann and she doesn't know what to think. She discovers that it is not his real sister, but a student that he kidnapped and made into his sister. He realises that he has been caught and he knocks Elissa out and puts her in the basement too. He tells her that Carrie-Ann died when he was very young and he feels guilty about it. He wants her to be the next Carrie-Ann. Sarah is worried about Elissa when she doesn't come home and she suspects that she might be at Ryan's. She calls Weaver and asks him to call over and check. He does so and he hears something. He gets stabbed by Ryan and falls into the basement.
Elissa escapes and locks Ryan into the basement. He has a key and he lets himself out and chases her.
He catches her and puts her into the boot of his car. Sarah comes over looking for Elissa. He stabs her and throws her into the basement with Weaver. Elissa manages to grab Weavers gun and shoots Ryan. He isn't dead and Sarah finishes him off with a hammer. Cut to end of movie, mother and daughter and moving on. We discover that Carrie-Ann was actually Ryan. His parents turned him into their dead daughter and made him live that way and that's why he bumped them off...This film is bad- really bad. It started off okay and then it just went downhill all the way. It was not scary at all. There was very little suspense and the characters were just irritating. Avoid it. I give it 2/10.
Last week, Grace was killed instead of Kit by Frank, the security guard. This week begins with a crazy guy who kills a Santa and takes his suit. Cut to a year later and he is in Briarcliff as a patient. His name is

She has realised what Sr. Mary Eunice has become and she tries to get through to her but gets interrupted before she can. She is thrown out.

Dr. Arden lets Sr. Jude into Briarcliff to help Sr. Mary Eunice. She wants to get her alone. She waits in the office for her. Emerson attacks Frank as Sr. Mary Eunice wanted, but he doesn't manage to kill him so she does it and blames it on him. She lets him out of his cell again and locks him in with Sr. Jude. It turns out that Arden has double crossed Sr. Jude and now Emerson is going to kill her. Thredson shows up at Briarcliff looking for Lana. He finds her and tries to kill her. He has cleaned his house from top to bottom so there is no evidence of his crimes. Kit saves her and they tie Thredson up and leave him in a storage room. Emerson hits Sr. Jude with her own cane and proceeds to kill her, but she manages to get a knife and she kills him...
Last time, Bloody Face had Lana held in his basement, Sr. Jude had found the Nazi hunter dead and Shelley was murdered by the Monsignor. This weeks episode begins with Grace being very ill after her sterilisation. Sr. Mary Eunice tells Arden about it. She is the boss now. The Angel of Death shows up at Briarcliff and talks to Sr. Mary Eunice. The Angel knows what she is. Arden tries to help Grace. Thredson has sex with Lana and she sees the Angel of Death too. Kit tries to tell his lawyer that he is innocent, but no one will believe him. He manages to escape from custody. Lana realises that she is not ready to die yet. Thredson tries to kill her, but she fights back and manages to escape. She meets a car on the road and jumps in. Unfortunately, the guy in it is a nutcase too and he blows his brains out in front of her and the car crashes. She wakes up back in Briarcliff.

Sr. Jude is still with the Nazi hunter and he tells her that it was a nun who killed him. We find out about Sr. Jude before she became a nun. She was a drunk and she knocked down a little girl which drove her to enter a convent. Sr. Mary Eunice calls Sr. Jude and tries to get her to commit suicide. Sr. Jude thinks about it but doesn't do it. She pays a visit to the family of the girl she killed. She discovers that the girl was not killed after all. She is so relieved. Lana wants to talk to Sr. Jude but she is told that Jude has left.
She tells Sr. Mary Eunice about Thredson. She tells Lana that she believes her story . Grace recovers and Kit shows up to get her out of there. The security guard, Frank, catches him and shoots her by mistake instead of Kit. The Angel of Death shows up and takes Grace with her. Grace is finally free....

Last episode, Lana had discovered that Dr. Thredson was Bloody Face and that Kit has been set up by him to take the fall for his crimes. Dr. Arden hid his secret past and Sr. Jude was on the brink of losing her position at Briarcliff. This week, we begin in present day with the cops finding the fake Bloody Faces who were in the abandoned asylum. Back to Briarcliff and a woman brings in her daughter telling Sr. Jude that she has killed a little boy and she needs help. Lana is imprisoned with Bloody Face. He tells her about his life and he thinks that she is his mother in some bizarre game. The Nazi hunter calls Sr. Jude to tell her that Arden was at a concentration camp as a doctor. He just needs his fingerprint to make sure that it is the same man.

The woman leaves her daughter, Jenny at Briarcliff as she cannot cope with her. Shelley is in hospital and she gets a visit from the Monsignor who kills her after it is revealed that he is working with Arden. He goes to Arden and tells him that he is not happy with Shelley's situation. He is appalled at what she had become and he warns Arden that he will tell people what has been going on. Arden threatens him and tells him that he will let people know that he was in it up to his neck too. The Monsignor wants Sr. Jude out of Briarcliff. She has no choice but to go. Kit calls Thredson to help him with his case, but Thredson won't lift a finger to help him now. Kit figures out that he was set up.

Sr. Jude manages to get Arden's fingerprint but when she goes to the Nazi hunter, she finds that he has been attacked and is dying. He tells Jude that it was one of her nuns who killed him. In fact, we see that Sr. Mary Eunice killed him to stop him from finding out about Arden. She tells him that she has taken care of it for him. He wonders what she wants in return. She wants his soul. Jenny returns home and she kills her family. Bloody Face gets ready to kill Lana but she tries to trick him into believing that she is his mother.
Continuing on from the last episode, Sr. Jude delves into Dr. Arden's background. She visits a Nazi hunter to find out more information about his past. Sr.Jude tries to talk to Anne Frank about Arden too.
It turns out that Anne Frank is actually called Charlotte and her husband shows up looking for her. He tells Sr. Jude that Charlotte has a child and that she is obsessed with the idea that she is Anne Frank and that she is deluded about it. He wants to take her home. Sr. Jude is angry that she has been lied to. Meanwhile, Dr. Thredson is trying to help Kit. He doesn't want him to be sterilised and he makes sure that he gets him out of solitary. He can't help Grace, though. Dr. Arden tells Sr. Jude that he will sue her to trying to damage his reputation. He tells her that he will get her fired.

Sr. Mary Eunice apologises to Arden for trying to seduce him. She tells him that she protected him by getting rid of Shelley before his experiment was discovered. Shelley ends up crawling into a schoolyard where she terrifies some young children. Arden wants to give Charlotte a lobotomy to 'help' her, but it is just to cover his lies. Dr. Thredson helps Lana to escape. He takes her out in his car and back to his house. Sr. Jude discovers that Lana has escapes and she thinks that she will be fired. She leaves Briarcliff. Lana realises that Thredson is not who he says he is. In fact, he is Bloody Face and he has set Kit up to take the fall for his crimes.Charlotte is back with her husband and baby. She has completely changed after her operation and remembers nothing about Arden and his past. Arden is safe again. There is a photograph of Hitler on the wall and who should be beside him only Dr. Arden!
It's that time of year again and we at Jigsaw's Lair are preparing for the merry season ahead. We have been seeking out our favourite Christmas movies and so far we have Silent Night, Deadly Night, Black Christmas(original of course),Don't Open Till Christmas, Christmas Evil and Santa's Slay. There are plenty of movies to choose from so I think that we will be set from Christmas Eve until New Year. Then, there will be another year of horror to look forward to! I have included the trailers to some of these movies to put you in the Christmas mood! Enjoy!
This is the mid season finale of the show which is really annoying because we will have to wait until next year to see what happens!!!
This episode begins with an unknown group of survivors going through the woods killing walkers. They stumble upon the prison. In Woodbury, the Governor is making plans to go to the prison and kill all of Rick's group. Merle doesn't want anything to happen to his brother Daryl. Rick and the group sneak into the town. Maggie and Glenn attack Merle and his guys but he gets away. Rick and the group rescue Glenn and Maggie and they have to hide from The Governor's men. The Governor learns that they have broken into the town. Glenn tells Daryl what Merle has been doing but Daryl wants to see his brother. Rick tells him that they need to leave now.

Andrea wants to help The Governor fight these attackers, but he doesn't want her in the middle of everything. Michonne gets into The Governor's office and waits for him. Andrea goes ahead and gets her gun and starts to shoot at Rick and the others, not knowing who they are. One of the prisoners who were in Rick's group gets killed. Meanwhile back at the prison, the new group of survivors get into the prison.
Carl finds them and he helps them to get away from the walkers. In Woodbury, Michonne finds The Governor's daughter and lets her out, not realising that she is a walker. The Governor finds her with his daughter and he begs Michonne not to hurt her. She kills her anyway and he is furious. They have a fight and she stabs him in one eye, blinding him. Andrea catches her and pulls a gun on her. She leaves. Andrea finds The Governor's head collection and she sees him crying over his dead daughter.

At the prison, Carl locks the new group into a cell block with food etc until the others come back. Andrea talks to The Governor about his daughter. Merle and his gang show up and see what has happened. They tell The Governor that Rick and the others have escaped. Rick thinks that Michonne double crossed him but she tells him that she didn't and that they need her. In Woodbury, The Governor talks to his people. He tells them that terrorists broke into their town and killed some of their people. He blames Merle for it all as Merle brought Maggie and Glenn back. He brings out an unknown person with a sack on his head and it turns out to be Daryl who got left behind. Merle and Daryl see each other after a long time but their reunion could be short lived as the town want them dead! Andrea realises what has happened and she is horrified!

A great episode. I like The Governor's character. He is evil but he is a great baddie. It is good to have some human baddies for a change. I like the character of Michonne too. She is tough. Some of the other characters I could really care less about such as Hershel etc. They are just boring, I think. Let's hope that the second half of the season is as good as the first and the two gangs are set to face off!!!!
Last episode, poor Shelley woke up to find that both of her legs had been amputated by the nutty Dr. Arden.
This episode begins with a new patient being brought into the asylum. Dr. Arden is still working away on Shelley and doing tests on Kit.Dr. Thredson asks Lana where she, Kit and Grace went during the movie. He tells her that he wants her to be released as he doesn't think that she is insane. The new patient calls herself Anne Frank and she claims to be the real deal. She tells Sr.Jude that she pretended to be dead to protect herself. She tells Sr. Jude that Dr. Arden was a doctor in the concentration camp where she was held. She tells her that he went under the name Dr. Hans Gruber. Arden denies it but Sr. Jude isn't so sure.

Kit and Grace have sex but they are caught by Sr. Jude and they are to be sterilised.Dr Thredson is trying to cure Lana of her lesbian tendencies but it is not working. Sr. Jude goes to the Monseigneur and tells him all about Anne Frank and everything. He thinks that she has lost the plot and he tells her that he knows of her drinking on the job. He then contacts Arden so we find out that there is something sinister going on between them. Kit and Grace talk and he discovers that she killed her step father and her mother because she was being sexually abused by her step dad and her mother did nothing. Dr. Thredson decides that he wants to take Lana out of the asylum with him. Dr Arden gets Anne Frank alone and he threatens her. She pulls a gun on him but then she sees what used to be Shelley crawling on the ground. She is horrified. Shelley is a monster....
Last time, Michonne had reached the prison and met Rick for the first time...
This episode begins with Glenn being interrogated by Merle. Merle wants to know where their camp is. He beats him while trying to get the information out of him. Meanwhile, Michonne gets ambushed by walkers at the gates of the prison. Rick doesn't know if he should let her in or not. She is weak from her wound so she collapses. The walkers are going to kill her, but Rick and the others save her and bring her inside. Rick takes her sword from her. Daryl brings Carol to the others and Rick is delighted to see her alive. Carol is upset when she realises that Lori is dead. Michonne tells Rick that Glenn and Maggie are in a place called Woodbury and she tells him about The Governor. They decide to go and get them out.

Back in Woodbury, Merle is trying to break Glenn. The Governor tells Andrea that he has people performing experiments on people trying to find out why they turn into walkers. Maggie meets The Governor and he pretends to be nice to her at first, but then she sees his real side. He makes her strip and she thinks that he is going to rape her, but he doesn't. He brings her into Glenn and tells him that they will die if he doesn't tell him where their camp is. Maggie breaks and tells him. Rick and company arrive at Woodbury to get Glenn and Maggie...
