This movie is about a maniac who breaks into a house and kidnaps a young girl called Emily and murders her. Her parents are very angry because the police have not been able to come up with anything. They hire a former Colonel in the U.S. Marines called Carson(Mitchell)who now works as a psychic detective. They want him to find some clues that might lead to their daughter's body being found. Meanwhile, the killer is in the city at a seedy motel. Carson looks through Emily's room and her belongings. He can see the killer and he can see what he is doing. The killer has his eye on a young teacher called Mary Jones(Holmes). He also goes around attacking women in the meantime. He begins to call Mary and follow her around. She begins to get scared.
Mary lives with her cousin Jo and Jo is seeing some rich guy and she doesn't believe that Mary is being followed by a maniac. Carson discovers where the weirdo is hiding out and he tells Mr. Parker. Parker gets his gun and goes to get the creep. Unfortunately, the maniac kills Mr. Parker and throws his body off of a balcony. Emily's body is finally found and Carson goes around to visit Mrs. Parker who is alone now. In a bizarre twist, she pulls her own gun and shoots Carson in the head. Mary is out with her boyfriend one night and the killer comes to her house and disposes of Jo and her boyfriend. He lies in wait for her. She is alone as her boyfriend leaves. She finds the dead body of Jo and she is horrified when the killer comes out. There is a cat and mouse chase and Mary ends up locking herself into the bathroom. She looks around for something to injure the killer. When he breaks through the door, she blasts him with hot water and she stabs him with scissors, leaving him to bleed out in the bath. Her boyfriend has come back along with her neighbour to help her as she screams.
This film was very cheaply made. I thought that it was a bit silly in places, but it is watchable. It is not one that I had heard about and that is why I wanted to have a look at it. It is not a well known horror movie, but if you like a really cheap movie with a dodgy story, then you will like this! I will give it a 4/10.
I suppose that everyone has a picture of Christopher Lee as Dracula in all of those Hammer movies and I do too. Christopher Lee made that role his own as well as many others during his long career. Let me discuss those films that I like. Lee starred in his first Dracula movie in 1958 with Peter Cushing who was a lifelong friend of Lee's. He went on to star as Dracula in another ten movies! It is no wonder that people associate him with the role. He was a versatile actor and he played roles from Sherlock Holmes to Fu Manchu.
I remember him as being in Death Line(1972), a 70's horror movie starring Donald Pleasance and Dark Places(1973) in which he had a lead role. I enjoyed that movie. But, my favourite Christopher Lee film has to be The Wicker Man(1973). His role as Lord Summerisle was very well played. He seemed like a normal man who lives on the island and you would not guess that he is the leader of this pagan cult that burns people alive in the giant Wicker Man. Lee also appeared in the sequel The Wicker Tree but the less said about that movie, the better.He also did lots of voice work and if you can believe it music as well!
The role that I really enjoyed him in is a role that millions of people will know him for- the role of Saruman in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit trilogy. He was brilliant in the role as the sorcerer gone bad and I don't think that anybody else could have done better. Lee also starred in many TV shows including The Avengers, The Alfred Hitchcock hour and many many more. He had such a great career and he left so many great movies behind that he will never be forgotten.
He was 93 when he passed away last week, so he had a good long life and I think that his films will live on forever. Whichever films you enjoy, there is bound to be at least one Christopher Lee movie in your collection.A great actor and he will be sadly missed. R.I.P Christopher Lee(1922-2015).
The movie begins with a young woman called Maggie(Schoelen) who is having nightmares about a girl called Sarah. The girl is being chased by some madman and he catches her and tries to kill her. She records her dreams on her tape recorder as she might want to make a movie out of it. She lives with her mother, Suzanne(Wallace) and she has been getting weird calls so something is going on. Maggie is in film class at the university and she and her fellow students want to put on a horror movie festival. Professor Davis(Roberts) encourages them. They need the money for the film department. They choose three old movies and one of the students Toby(Tom Villard) knows a guy who owns a film memorabilia store and he will give them some film gimmicks to go with the movies.
They arrive at an old movie theatre called Dreamland that will be demolished soon. They tidy up the place and go through some old stuff that they find. They discover a very weird and psychedelic movie from the '60's called The Possessor. It was made by a film cult leader called Lanyard Gates and he murdered his family live on stage during a showing of his movie and then trapped the audience inside the theatre and set it alight. People died and he was supposed to have perished also. Maggie is interested in Gates and the film as it is very like the dreams that she has been having and she mentions it to her mother who looks uncomfortable about it. She wants Maggie to come away with her and forget all about the festival. Maggie will not do that. Suzanne receives a call from someone and she thinks that it might be Gates. He tells her to go to the Dreamland theatre and she does. She wanders around and then someone jumps out at her.
Maggie and her friends set up the movie night and everything seems to be going well. There is an uninvited guest- is it Gates? Someone is sneaking around murdering Maggie's pals. She wants to find out what is going on. She thinks that Gates might still be alive and he is the one responsible for it all. She has some sort of memory recall and she knows that she is the daughter of Gates and her mother is actually her aunt. She was at the theatre when Gates went mad but her life was saved by her aunt. She and Toby wander around trying to put the power back on when it goes and then Maggie finds herself captured. It is the big reveal.... Toby is the killer. He was also at the theatre the night of Gates' meltdown but he didn't escape so easily. His face was burned so badly that he has to wear a mask. He blames Maggie and her aunt for everything.He wheels out Suzanne who is a full body cast and then he tells them that he is going to reenact Gates' film but this time, it will end as it should. He takes Maggie and puts her into a metal thing so that she can't move and puts her on stage with her aunt in front of the audience who think that this is another part of the festival. Maggie's boyfriend swoops in to save her and kills Toby and Suzanne and Maggie live.
This movie wasn't bad. There are good parts and bad parts. I like the idea of it and I think that it is a pretty clever slasher movie. Don't get me wrong, it isn't brilliant by any means, but it is watchable and the ending is pretty good. I enjoyed this and it was worth a watch. I will give it a 5/10.
This film is based in the Amish community of New Bethlehem. In the past, there were six baby girls born at the same time and there is some prophecy that states that one of them will become the Devil's Hand. One of the mothers kills her baby and herself to stop this happening. The other five girls grow up as normal, not knowing about the prophecy. They are all fine until an unknown killer begins to pick them off, one by one. The Elder Beacon(Meaney) is aware of the prophecy and he thinks that there is evil in their community. Mary(Alycia Debnam-Carey) is having strange fits. Nobody knows why this is. Her dad is Jacob(Sewell) who stopped Elder Beacon from killing the five babies at birth. Mary's mother left is supposedly dead, but Mary discovers that she is alive and living near the community. Jacob has a new wife,Rebekah(Carpenter) and she and Mary do not get along.
After one of Mary's friends is found murdered, Elder Beacon tells everyone that there is an evil presence in their community. He wants the check the remaining girls physically to see if there are any marks of the Devil. Jacob tells Mary about the prophecy and he tells her that on their 18th birthday, one of them will become the Devil's Hand. He tells her that Elder Beacon was going to kill them all, but he stopped him. The community is in turmoil as more bodies are found. Mary runs away to find her mother and Elder Beacon and the others try to find her. The cops try to find out what is happening, but the community will not tell them anything. Mary's pal, Ruth tries to talk to them and is shunned as a result. She has to leave.Mary and Ruth return to New Bethlehem to save their families from evil. Jacob hides them. Elder Beacon discovers them and chases them. Mary's fits get worse. Beacon tries to exorcise her but her father saves her. He takes her to hospital. She is worried that she is the Devil's Hand. Is she? Her mother turns up at the hospital and she tells Mary that she made sure that Mary was the last girl alive. She was the one who killed the others. Mary turns evil and she goes to New Bethlehem, leaving a bloody trail after her. She finds Elder Beacon and kills him.
This film was okay. I thought that it would be better as it had a good cast, but it was just mediocre. I would say that it was interesting to have a horror set in an Amish community like Wes Craven's Deadly Blessing, but unlike that film, this was not very good. I wanted to like it more, but I didn't. I will give this a 4/10.
Deadly Games is a 1982 horror movie directed by Scott Mansfield and starring Alexandra Morgan and Jo Ann Harris. The story is pretty basic here. A masked killer is going all over town murdering innocent women. One woman, Linda(Morgan)who gets killed has a sister who just happens to be a reporter. She is nicknamed Keegan(Harris) and she comes to town to find out what happened to her sister. The local cop, Roger(Sam Groom) is investigating the case and he is not sure that it was murder as Linda fell through a window to her death after running from the killer, but the cops don't know that yet. Keegan meets some old pals of hers. She left the town years ago and she sees some people she used to know. She stays at Linda's house.
Keegan meets a local weirdo called Billy(Steve Railsback) who runs the local cinema and he is a suspect in the killings.Some of the film has Keegan wandering around town meeting with Roger and having a relationship with him even though he is married. Hmm.What the hell has that to do with the story? I don't really know.Roger and Keegan go to the cinema and meet Billy. They all play a game together. It is all lovely.Keegan begins to suspect that Roger might be involved in the killings. Oh now! What happens to their budding romance now? Anyway, this movie ends on a bad note and it is not one of the best ones that I have watched from the 1980's. This was a bit tame for me. There wasn't much to scare anybody. It isn't too bad, but I wouldn't watch it and expect to be on the edge of my seat! Just a warning and the ending isn't great. I am going to be kind and give this one a 4/10 as I did manage to make it to the end without fast forwarding it....
So, there is yet another Paranormal Activity movie. Yes, they are becoming a little on the recycled side at this stage, but I will give it a glance if I can. I saw the trailer so have a look and see what you think. This time, a new family are going to be faced with the evil etc. I think that the time has come to wrap it up after all of the movies. I liked the first one and the second wasn't bad but the others aren't great. The found footage thing has been really used too much in horror movies these days and it doesn't contribute to the movie much as it is just the norm now unlike when Blair Witch Project was released. Anyway, watch the trailer and get ready for more spooky happenings in October when this comes out!
The story begins with a woman called Jane Hardy(Van DeVere) who is left her aunt's house in her will. It is located in the small town of Blackford and she travels there to stay for a while after the death of her mother and her divorce. She comes into town and the locals are far from friendly. The man who has the key is the local realtor Prichard(Cotten) and he has had his eye on the house for a while. He is not best pleased that she is moving into it. She tells him that she might stay for the summer. She meets a local teen called Paul(Perry Lang) and he offers to do some handy-work for her at the house. He is the only one who is friendly to her. She sees strange things at the house and she is being followed by some creepy hearse.
It almost crashes into her and she is left stranded when he car gets stuck. A man called Tom(Gautreaux) stops to help her and she likes him. She finds her aunt's diary and discovers that her aunt met a mysterious man called Robert and that she jilted her fiance for him. He had a strange power over her. She discovered that he wanted her to worship Satan with him. Jane finds that someone has broken in and she scares them off.Tom and Jane see each other and she tells him about herself.He doesn't give away much about himself. Jane tells him that she thinks someone is following her. She has strange dreams about her own funeral. To cut a long story short, Jane and Tom begin seeing each other. She finds herself drawn to him and she decides to stay in town for another while. Prichard is not pleased and goes over to her house to throw rocks through her window. He gets knocked down by the hearse.
The local reverend has been talking to Jane about what has been happening and he thinks that it is all in her head. Before his demise, Prichard has told Jane that the hearse carrying her aunt's body crashed and the driver and her aunt's body were never seen again.Robert also disappeared. He tells her the reason that the townsfolk don't like her and her aunt is that the aunt was a devil worshipper before she died. Jane is attacked again and in the end, she realises that the hearse belongs to Tom. She finds his grave and she cannot believe that he is dead. Is he the Devil? He wants her to come with him.Her aunt's story is beginning to happen again and Jane resists him and runs off when the reverend shows up. Plot hole here as we don't find out what happened to the rev. We can only assume that he is killed by Tom who he meets at the house. Paul is also killed when he arrives at the house looking for Jane who has escaped. Tom follows her in the hearse and chases her. She is determined not to let him get her and she rams his hearse off a cliff and it crashes and burns, but before he crashes, Tom smiles so we guess that he is the Devil and cannot be killed. Back at the house, the aunt's ghost looks out of the window. Is she waiting for Jane?
This was an entertaining if tame horror movie. If you are looking for blood and guts, then go somewhere else. I liked it though. I thought that it had a good story and it was very enjoyable. I will give it a 6/10.
So, this episode begins with Morgan being captured by two members of a group called The Wolves. They tell him that they go around killing survivors and they have a W on their foreheads. They inform him that they are going to kill him. He manages to escape and he knocks them out and leaves them for the walkers.In Alexandria, Rick wakes up after being knocked out by Michonne in the previous episode. She explains that she did it because she wanted to protect him. Deanna is not sure what to do with him and she is going to ask the members of the community if she should exile him. Maggie tries to talk her out of it, but to no avail. Maggie goes around town, trying to tell people that Rick is a good person. Rick has a plan to take control of Alexandria should things get out of hand and he has the backing of his friends.
Meanwhile, Abraham and Eugene make amends and apologise to each other for everything that happened. Tara wakes up and everyone is happy. Sasha is out in the woods lying in a walker grave for some reason. Aaron and Daryl realise that there are people around in the woods. They look around to see if they can find them. They see a guy in a red poncho and they follow him. They lose him and go looking for some food but get into trouble when they step into a trap and get surrounded by walkers. Just then, Morgan comes along and helps them. They chat and Morgan brings out the map that Rick left for him. Daryl realises who he is. The Wolves have the survivor in the red poncho. They bring him to their trap and realise that someone has set it off. They kill him and then they find a backpack that Aaron dropped which is not good as it has stuff in it about Alexandria.
Glenn and Nicholas have another fight and Nicholas has to give up when he is defeated. Father Gabriel walks around acting weird and as he is trusted with closing the main gate into Alexandria, he messes up and leaves it open. Alexandria is open to the walkers. The priest has a fight with Sasha and then he breaks down. He feels guilty about abandoning his congregation and he wants forgiveness. Deanna and the townsfolk are having their chat about Rick. He is walking around when he spots walkers in the place. He kills them and he secures the gate. He throws the corpse of a walker in front of the townspeople and tells them that there are so many dangers to come if they do not make sure that they are ready. He will teach them to survive.
Jessie's husband, Pete, comes along,drunk and with Michonne's katana. He threatens Rick with it. He tells him that he should not be here. Deanna's husband tries to reason with him, but he slits his throat. Deanna is horrified.She orders Rick to kill Pete.Daryl and Aaron have come back in time to see it, along with Morgan. There is a post credit scene of the man in the red poncho who is now a walker. The car in which Daryl and Aaron had been trying to hide while surrounded by walkers has the words ' Wolves not Far' written on it. I am guessing that the Wolves are going to come to Alexandria and there will be a battle..I am looking forward to season 6 already!
Episode 14 begins with Noah talking to Deanna's husband, Reg about keeping the walls up and he learns that Reg is an architect. Noah wants to learn from him. Rick is doing the rounds when he sees that Jessie's sculpture has been vandalised. He wants to help to find the culprit, but she tells him it isn't important. Glenn, Tara, Eugene and Noah go to look for supplies with Aiden and Nicholas. They end up in a warehouse and Aiden makes a huge mistake when he shoots a walker in full armour . The problem is the walker has a grenade on him and it explodes. All hell breaks loose. Tara gets hurt and Aiden gets impaled on something and they think that he is dead and they run to an office for shelter. They realise that Aiden is actually alive and go to rescue him. Nicholas gives up telling them that Aiden walked away from others who were in trouble, but Glenn won't let him die. He tries to save him, but it is too late. Glenn and Noah run after Nicholas and all three get caught in a revolving door on the way out. Eugene takes Tara out to the van. The walkers are all around Glenn, Noah and Nicholas. Eugene gets the van and blasts some loud music to draw the walkers away from the door. Glenn has a plan to get out but Nicholas panics and pushes the door, exposing Noah to the walkers. He is eaten alive as Glenn watches. Glenn escapes and goes to the van where Nicholas is. He blames him for Noah's death and they hold a gun on him as they drive back.
Abraham steps up as foreman when he proves that he has what it takes. He saves some people and he impresses the others. Deanna is a little wary of giving the newcomers positions of power. Father Gabriel comes to see her and tells her not to trust Rick and the group. I think he has lost the plot. Maggie overhears his words and is not happy. Carol discovers that Jessie's son, Sam vandalised her statue and she realises that Pete is abusing his wife. She tells Rick that he needs to stop him and maybe even kill him.
Episode 15 begins with Deanna and her husband mourning their son, Aiden's death. Everyone who was there tells her what happened, but Nicholas doesn't tell the truth and makes Deanna wonder if Father Gabriel was right. She is going to do an investigation into it.Nicholas blames Glenn and Glenn blames him. Glenn and Nicholas argue and Glenn warns him not to leave the community for any reason. Nicholas has a gun and it is the one that Rich had stashed outside for emergencies. Carol follows a young girl, Enid, outside the walls and he is interested in what she is doing. She sees him and they chat about being in Alexandria. Is romance in the air?
Daryl and Aaron notice that there are a lot of walkers around the area and they find fresh human body parts strewn around. There is also a W carved into some walkers heads.What does it mean? Rick is not happy about Pete and he brings his concerns to Deanna. She won't act as Pete is a surgeon and he is invaluable to them. Rick is pissed off and he goes to see Jessie and tells her that he will protect her if she will let him and she agrees. Pete comes home and there is a huge fight. It goes outside and everyone is watching. Rick goes a bit crazy and pulls out his gun. He tells Deanna that she is not hard enough to deal with the problems that will arise and that they are all hiding away. Michonne knocks him out for his own good.
Two interesting episodes setting up everything. Poor Noah was eaten alive which was a shame. My guess is that something will happen in Alexandria and Rick will end up taking over or something like that....Only one episode left!
Valerie(Allan) is a model who goes with her dodgy boyfriend Terry(Alex Leppard) to an old house in the fog. Terry has arranged to rob it. He breaks into the house, leaving Valerie in the car, waiting for him. She gets tired of waiting and goes inside. Terry scours the place for valuables. He finds lots of women's passports. They hear someone coming into the house. It is a man and a woman. They can only see the woman. The man is hidden from them. The woman takes off her clothes and it looks as if they are going to have sex when he kills her. Terry and Valerie are horrified, Val runs from the house, leaving Terry behind. She gets chased by the killers, but he can't find her. She flags down a car and gets a lift back to her flat.She is nervous after her ordeal and she sees Terry's car parked outside her house. He is nowhere to be seen. She finds her pictures in the car where she left them. One has disappeared.
Val goes to see her pals and tells them what happened. They think that Terry will turn up. She tells them that a woman was murdered.She meets an artist called Paul(Lanchbury) who designs masks and they get along. He tells her that he will give her a mask if she calls over to his place. She gives him her number. He calls her and asks her out. There is a new tenant moving into the house and Val thinks that he is a little strange. Val and her pals search for the house where the murder occurred. They finds Terry's car at a junkyard. They can't locate the house. Val meets Paul and his aunt, Susannah(Maggie Walker). She makes the masks for Paul. There are some seriously weird things happening between Paul and his aunt. They end up in bed together.
Val's flatmate,Lorna(Judy Matheson) comes home from her holiday and Val fills her in. The new tenant Mr. Hornby(Peter Forbes-Robertson) calls into them to introduce himself. He is a bit odd. Paul likes Val but Susannah thinks that it is not a good idea. Valerie tells her friends about him and how she likes him. The killer breaks into Val's flat and kills her roommate, Lorna. Val finds her.She goes to the police and they ask her if someone had keys to the flat. Mr. Hornby wants to help her, but she doesn't want him to.She and Paul decide to go away together. He takes her to house in the woods. It is the same house! How does she not know???Anyway, it seems that Paul is the killer and he has been luring young women to the house and killing them. He likes Val, though and he can't kill her. He kills his aunt instead. This film was okay. It is nothing special, but it wasn't too bad. The story was a bit thin,but it kept me interested. It is a cheaply made 70's horror/thriller, but I think that if you enjoy B movies, then you will like this. I will give it a 5/10.
Episode 12 begins with the group entering the Alexandria safe zone. They meet the leader Deanna(Tovah Feldshuh) who they talk to in turns and who records their conversations on camera. Deanna was a congresswoman and she thinks that she can run the place with her husband who is an architect. Rick warns her to be careful of strangers as people can be as dangerous as the walkers. She thinks that she has everything under control. Carol is being wary and she does not tell Deanna that she is an expert with weapons and killing. She pretends to be the mother of the group and she pretends to be sweet and naive. They are given houses with running water and electricity which is amazing for the group.
They meet some of the others who are living there.Rick meets a woman called Jessie (Alexandra Breckenridge) who is a hairdresser and who cuts his hair for him.Carl meets some kids his own age and he finds it a bit weird. The survivors realise that the people living here have no idea how bad it is outside the community. They have gotten used to their home comforts and have gone soft. Rick and the others do not want to go soft. Rick goes out to find the gun he stashed but it has gone. He is not happy. Aiden(Daniel Bonjour) is Deanna's son and he is a cocky guy. He takes Tara, Glenn and Noah out for some walker practice, but he is reckless and stupid and ends up fighting with Glenn, who thinks that he is an ass. Daryl intervenes in their fight and Rick pulls him away.Deanna tells Glenn he was right to take her son down a peg or two and she asks Rick and Michonne to become police constables for the settlement. They accept. Rick is still wary of the place though and he tells Carol and Daryl that if Deanna and the others are too weak, they will take it over.
Episode 13 begins with Sasha acting strangely and going off by herself into the woods. Rick, Carol and Daryl want their weapons back and the only way to get them is to steal them back.They kill a walker and notice a W etched into its forehead. What does it mean? Deanna throws a party to welcome Rick and the others. They are all pretty uncomfortable with it. Rick meets Jessie again and there is a spark between them. Aaron and Daryl have dinner together with Eric as Daryl doesn't want to go to the party. Aaron shows him his garage with tonnes of motorbike parts that he collected. He wants Daryl to help him to build a bike. He also asks Daryl to replace Eric as a recruiter.
Carol goes into the weapons store and steals three guns. She is caught by Jessie's son, Sam and she threatens him. She tells him that if he tells, she will feed him to the walkers.Rick has a walk around the settlement and sees Jessie with her husband. He can hear the walkers outside the wall and he feels strange as he is so used to killing them but now, he doesn't have to. These episodes were entertaining and setting up the new location and characters. I think that Deanna needs a reality check and I think that Alexandria will have to toughen up.
Mitchell stars as Vincent Renard, head of the make up department at Paragon Pictures. He is seeing an actress called Marie Morgan(Helm) and they are in love. Marie is going to quit Paragon Pictures and the boss Max Black(Berry Kroeger) doesn't want her to leave. She is a big star and he won't let her go. He is jealous of Vincent and while Vincent lights a cigarette, he throws a glass of something into his face, setting him alight and disfiguring him for life. What are the odds of that happening? Anyway, after the accident, Vincent turns mean and he pushes Marie out of his life. He buys a waxwork museum and he makes displays that are eerily lifelike. If you have seen House of Wax with Vincent Price, then you get the idea....
So, stars from Paragon Pictures are disappearing and there is no trace of them. The cops are investigating and they come to Vincent. He talks to them but they don't really suspect him of any wrongdoing. The cops also talk to Marie about Vincent. Ironically, Vincent is making a wax figure of a guy called Tony, who just happened to be Marie's lover..How odd is that? Marie calls Vincent and she asks him over for dinner. She wants the wax figure of her lover. Vincent thinks that this is a bit strange. He wants Marie to pose for a waxwork in exchange for the figure of Tony. He warns her not to tell anyone. Vincent has a helper guy called Mick who is a bit of a drinker and Mick tells Vincent that he thought he saw a waxwork move. Vincent persuades him that it was all in his imagination.
Vincent knows an actress called Theresa(Victoria Carroll) and she is close with Max so he asks her to bring Max to the waxwork museum to see her in wax. They arrive and he shows them the waxwork of Theresa. Vincent drugs Max and he tells him that he will be going into his waxwork display. He turns on Theresa and he kills her. Max tells Vincent that the cops are outside. They followed him there and if he doesn't come out, then they will come in. Vincent dresses as Max, puts Theresa in the car and drives away/ The cops tail him and he crashes the car and runs off. The cops find Theresa and assume that Max killed her and ran off. They chase Vincent but they lose him. They show up at Vincent's later and they are suspicious. Vincent has Max over the hot wax, ready to dip him in. He also has Marie held captive. He reveals that he uses a drug to inject his victims and it paralyses them and they turn into zombies. He has complete control over them and they have to do his bidding. He tries to get them to kill the cop when he comes back but it doesn't work. Vincent ends up falling into hot wax and that's it. This movie has a weird ending. You would think that he is dead after falling into the wax, but he is seen at the end alive, so I don't really know what that means. Was it a dream or some mental breakdown? Who knows, who cares. This is not really one that you would watch again. It is not original as House of Wax was a better movie and this is kind of a rip off of that film...I will say that it was worth a watch, but don't expect too much! I will give it a 3/10.
Episode 10 begins with the group having to travel on foot when their van runs out of gas. It is very hot and they are all suffering. They are all thinking about Beth and Tyreese and everyone is miserable as they have very little food or water. Sasha is becoming reckless and she is putting the lives of her fellow survivors at risk when they run into a group of walkers. Michonne tries to get her back on track but Sasha will not listen. Sasha kills some wild dogs and this is their dinner. They discover water bottles in the middle of the road and they are tempted but they can't trust it.
That night, they take shelter from a storm in a barn. They get some water finally. They get overtaken by a group of walkers and they have to barricade themselves inside. The next morning, they are relieved to find that the walkers have been destroyed by the storm and that they are OK. Sasha is talking to Maggie about how she feels when a man approaches them. They are on their guard as he says that his name is Aaron(Ross Marquand) and he asks to speak to Rick, much to their surprise.
Episode 11 starts with the group wondering who this guy Aaron is.Rick is very wary of him and he will not trust him at all. Aaron tells him that is lives in a community where there are other people and power and food and security from the walkers.He left them the water to drink as a good will gesture. Rick is sceptical of this ideal community. He knocks him out and ties him up. They search through his bag and they discover a flare gun so they think that there are more out there. When he wakes up, Aaron tells them that he is with a partner who is waiting for him. He has transport to take them to the community. He tells them that he will take them to them, but Rick wants them to check it out before they do anything. They find a car and an RV so it seems as if Aaron is on the level.
Aaron tells them that he will get them to the camp, but will not tell them the exact location. Rick does it his own way by taking an alternative route. Rick is wrong and they run into a horde of walkers. They fight their way through them and they even manage to save Aaron's partner, Eric(Jordan-Woods Robinson). Aaron tells them the location of the community-Alexandria in Virginia and they all head here. They pull up outside the gates and they hear the sounds of children playing. This makes Rick decide to give it a go and they enter the gates... Two good episodes with a new story arc beginning. The introduction of Aaron spells another chapter in the story which is good. I look forward to finding out more..
