Angst Movie Review

Angst is a 1983 Austrian horror movie directed by Gerald Kargl and starring Erwin Leder.

The movie begins with a man(Leder), who is being released from prison. He has killed his mother. He wants to kill someone else but this time, he doesn't want to get caught. He walks around town, into a diner and looks at some local girls but considers it too big a risk to attack them. He gets a taxi and tries to attack the female driver but she throws him out. He ends up running through the woods. He finds a house there. It looks like nobody is home. Of course, he breaks in. He sees a man in a wheelchair. Just then, a car pulls up outside. It seems the owners are coming back. A woman and her daughter enter.

He tackles the daughter first and ties her up. Then he turns his attention to the mother. She fights him and gets away but he catches her and ties her up too. The daughter tries to free herself and the disabled man crawls up the stairs. He gets caught by the killer who drowns him in the bath. He unties the mother and sees that she is not well. The daughter tells him that her mother needs medicine. He makes her get it. He is intent on keeping the mother alive as he has plans for her. He shoves the pills into her mouth. She is dead. The daughter tries to run away, but it is in vain. He stabs her and kills her. He has sex with her corpse. He wanders around outside into the daylight. He discovers their car and he gets the keys. He puts the dead bodies into the car and cleans himself up. He wants more victims. He intends to show them the dead bodies to scare them before he kills them.

He takes their dog with him and he heads into town where he crashes into another car. People start looking at him. He starts to go crazy. He speeds off and he finds family pictures in the car. He drives to a petrol station and he sees the girls he saw earlier in the diner. He goes inside to get food. The police come and look at his car. They want his registration and he has to open the trunk. The movie ends with a doctor saying that the killer had it all planned. He is a sadist but he is not mentally ill.It stems from a bad childhood. He is sentenced to life in prison.

This film is a tough watch at times. It contains quite a lot of violence. It is very bleak also.
Saying that, it was interesting and I did enjoy watching it. It had been on my list for quite a while and I am glad that I finally watched it. The killer in this has no redeeming qualities. He is a total psycho and he deserves to rot in prison. The guy who plays him looks kind of weird already, so this makes it easier to believe that he is a sicko. So, this film is a harrowing, realistic experience and I recommend it. Just be warned that it is pretty graphic!I will give it a 5/10.

Terror Train Movie Review

Terror Train is a 1980 horror movie directed by Roger Spottiswoode and starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Ben Johnson, Hart Bochner and David Copperfield.

The movie starts with a group of college students who play a prank on a guy called Kenny. They set him up with a girl but it all goes wrong and he loses his sanity and gets sent to an institution. Three years later, all of the college kids are going to have a New Year's party on a train. These are the same college kids who set up Kenny. One of the group gets killed before he can board the train and replaced by the unknown killer. There is also a magician(Copperfield) on the train with his assistant.
A girl called Alana(Curtis) is going on the train but she isn't happy because it reminds her of what happened to Kenny three years ago. She feels guilty about it. The leader of the group is called Doc(Bochner). Alana is dating his friend, Mo(Timothy Webber). The others are Jackson(Anthony Sherwood) and Mitchy(Sandee Currie).

There is a conductor on the train called Carne(Johnson) and he has porters with him, as well and the driver. The killings continue with Jackson meeting his demise in the bathroom. The conductor sees the dead body but when he shows others, the body has been moved. The killer is wandering around in the lizard outfit that Jackson was wearing. The conductor thinks that it was a prank and moves on. The others are murdered by the killer, who is mixing with the party goers. The conductor tells Alana that her friend Mitchy is dead. She doesn't believe him until she sees the dead body. The two of them know that there is a killer on board. The driver goes missing. The conductor has to take everyone off of the train and find the killer. Everyone disembarks while the conductor looks for the killer. There is nobody there. Alana thinks that it is Kenny coming back for revenge.

Then they wonder if the magician could be the killer. They lock him into a train car. Carne goes to have it out with him. The killer comes for Alana. He chases her and he tries to kill her. She manages to stab him. There is a struggle and she tries to push him off the train. He is still hanging on. They think that the killer is dead. Alana goes to lie down after her ordeal. The magician's body is discovered, so it wasn't him. It turns out that the killer was the magician's assistant. It was Kenny dressed up as a woman. He was hiding in plain sight. He is crazy and he wants revenge. He forces Alana to kiss him and he totally loses it. Carne saves the day by pushing him out of the train and into a freezing river, where he meets his death.

This is a fun slasher movie. I think that it is one of the better entries from the 1980's. I liked the premise of the killer on a train. It was original and the cast were pretty good. The movie is what you would expect from a slasher film, but I found it entertaining. I liked it on the whole and I would definitely recommend it for slasher fans and fans of 1980's horror movies. There is an interesting cameo from David Copperfield and of course Jamie Lee Curtis is decent as the lead. I don't hear much about this film when people discuss 1980's horror, but it should be there as it is a good movie. I will give it a 6/10.

Schizo Movie Review

Schizo is a 1976 horror/thriller directed by Pete Walker and starring Lynne Frederick, John Leyton, Stephanie Beacham and Jack Watson.

The  movie begins with  a man called William Haskin(Watson). He looks in the newspaper and sees an article about a woman who is getting married. The man packs his bags and he also packs a big knife. The woman is called Samantha(Frederick) and the man she is going to marry is called Alan(Leyton). Her friend is called Beth(Beacham) and they have another friend called Leonard(John Fraser). Samantha has lost contact with her family since her mother's death. Haskin arrives in London. Samantha and Alan get married. At the reception, Samantha sees Haskin. He hides a knife in the cake. When it is brought out, Samantha is very upset. He is watching her house.

Samantha is alone at home when she sees someone outside. When she goes to the supermarket, she meets Leonard. He asks her about her family, but she becomes evasive. When she arrives home, she knows that someone has been in the house. She tells Alan about it. Alan looks around but there is nobody there. Samantha goes to see Leonard and she tells him that the man who is after her is called William Haskin. He was her mother's lover. Samantha's real name is Jean. She was seven when she saw Haskin murder her mother and he went to prison. Leonard tells her that he will find out where Haskin is. Haskin finds Leonard in his car and he kills him. Samantha finds a bloody knife and she freaks out. She calls the police but they find nothing at her house. Samantha has a housepkeeper called Mrs. Wallace and she is part of a group called the Psychic Brotherhood. Mrs. Wallace and her daughter, Joy, are attending. She asks Samantha to go too.

Joy is a medium and she has a message for Samantha. It's from Leonard. It says that the killer is in the hall where they are. It scares Samantha. Joy goes to the bus stop to wait and she gets killed by Haskin. Alan is angry when he finds out that Samantha attended the meeting. He thinks that it is rubbish. Samantha finds out that Joy is dead. Beth offers to help her find out where Haskin is. She traces him to a boarding house. Meanwhile, Mrs. Wallace gets killed. Sam finds her body. Beth goes into Haskin's room but he returns. He catches her and he attacks her. She manages to escape. She tells Sam what happened. They go to the police. Sam clears up the blood left from the death of Mrs. Wallace. She goes to get Alan at his place of work. Haskin is there. She tries to run but he corners her. He says that she is the one who should have been in jail. It was her who killed the mother. Haskin says he wanted to frighten her into a confession.

Haskin says that she is the killer. She pushes him off a ledge and he dies. Alan finds her and the police deal with Haskin's body. Everything goes back to normal. A postcard arrives from Mrs. Wallace. Sam becomes jealous of Beth and Alan. Sam and Alan are going on holidays. She packs a knife in her bag. She plans on killing Alan, so she is the one who is the schizo after all....

This was an entertaining thriller/horror. I liked the main cast and the story was interesting. I did see the ending coming but it was still good. There are some creepy moments and there is plenty of blood in this one. It started off like a stalker movie, but it ended up as something quite different. Samantha ends up being the psychopath, but Haskin is one also, so it is hard to feel sorry for either of them. If you enjoy 1970's horror, then this is well worth a watch. I will give it a 6/10.

The Green Inferno Movie Review

The Green Inferno is a 2013 horror movie directed by Eli Roth and starring Lorenza Izzo.

The movie begins with students in college. A guy called Alejandro (Ariel Levy) and his gal pal Kara want to go over to the Amazon rain forest to stop a logging company from destroying the forest. Justine(Izza) wants to go with them.Going along also are Samantha, Amy, Lars, Daniel and Jonah. They reach the jungle and they make their protest. Guys with guns come out. They are a private army hired by the company. It is streamed live on the Internet. They are all arrested but they get out of it.
They are leaving on a small plane when it crashes in the forest. Everyone panics. There are people in the jungle. They get shot with darts. Justine wakes up in a boat with what looks like tribesmen. They are brought to their village. They meet the leader who is a woman.

They are all thrown into cages. The first to die is Jonah who is decapitated and eaten. Alejandro tells the others that his motives were not very pure. He was staging the protest for another company. He doesn't even believe in what he said. The leader takes the women off and tests them to see which ones are virgins. Justine is the only one so she is prepared for a genital mutilation ceremony. Samantha escapes but she doesn't get far. The group eat her flesh, unknowingly. This causes Amy to slash her throat and she dies. Lars is eaten. Justine tries to reach out to one of the children. She and Daniel escape the village but they are soon recaptured. Daniel is left to die and ants are put all over his body.
Justine is helped to escape by the child she befriended. She leaves Alejandro to his fate. She manages to escape when a private militia find her and she tells them that she is an American citizen. The group kills some of the tribe. Justine returns home and she tells everyone that the tribe were friendly for some reason and the film ends. There is a mid credits scene where Alejandro is seen in the village and he is painted.

This was a pretty good film. It has certainly been inspired by the likes of Cannibal Holocaust. It is brutal in parts and there is a decent amount of gore. The story is what you would expect. Some do gooders wander into the forest and get themselves in a lot of trouble. They get captured and all sorts of horror ensues. If you like cannibal movies, then this will satisfy you. It isn't the best film by any means, but I found it entertaining. I liked it and I thought that it was interesting. I am not really into cannibal movies, but this was fun overall and I enjoyed it. I will give it a 5/10.

A couple, David(Williams) and his wife Rosemary(Gordon) are travelling through the countryside with David's daughter, Judy. They get stuck in the mud and they have to walk and look for shelter.
They discover a house. It looks as if there is nobody there, so they get in through the back. The owners are there and they tell them to come in. They are Gabriel(Rolfe) and his wife, Hilary(Hilary Mason). Gabriel is a toymaker. He gives Judy a Punch doll. A man called Ralph(Stephen Lee) shows up at the house. He has two girls with him- Isabel(Bunty Bailey) and Enid(Cassie Stuart). They got stuck in the storm and found the house. Gabriel invites all of them to stay the night. Isabel and Enid want to rob the couple. Gabriel shows Ralph and Judy his toy workshop. Ralph still likes toys, even though he is an adult. The girls look for things to rob. The dolls are watching Isabel. They drag her away and they attack her. Judy sees her being dragged away. She tells her dad, but he thinks that she has imagined it. Judy tells Ralph. He spots blood on her slippers, so he believes her. They look around and they see blood on the floor. It leads all the way up to the attic. They go up, but Ralph falls down the stairs, waking everyone. Ralph tells everyone what has happened. Enid thinks that Ralph did it.

David gets angry with Judy and she runs off. He threatens to rip Punch apart. It bites him. He tries to burn it. Ralph talks to Gabriel about the blood. Gabriel tells him that it was paint. The dolls attack Rosemary and she dies. Enid looks for Isabel. She sees Hilary walking around with an old pram. Enid wanders up into the attic and there is Isabel. She has been changed into a doll. Enid falls foul of the dolls and she gets attacked and shot by the toy soldiers. Ralph and Judy are looking around the house and they visit the storeroom where there are lots of dolls. The dolls want to attack Ralph, but Judy convinces them not to as he is her friend. They are not sure what to do with him. David disocvers Rosemary dead and he thinks that Ralph did it. He is going to kill him. The dolls let Judy and Ralph go. David chases Ralph. Punch attacks him. David begins to destroy the dolls. He kills Punch. Gabriel and Hilary see it and they turn him into a doll as they had magical powers. They let people stay in their house and the good ones can leave but the bad ones are changed into dolls. Ralph and Judy are allowed to leave. The film ends with another family arriving at the house....

I liked this film. The story was interesting and the cast were good too. The dolls were creepy with their beady eyes following everyone! This was produced by Charles Band, who we all know from the Puppetmaster series and it stars Guy Rolfe who played Andre Toulon in those films too!! Overall, this was a lot of fun and I would certainly recommend it to fans of doll movies and 80's horror. I will give it a 6/10.

Dead End Movie Review

Dead End is a 2003 French horror movie directed by Jean-Baptiste Andrea and starring Ray Wise, Lin Shaye, Alexandra Holden and Mick Cain.

The film begins with a family who are on their way to dinner. Frank (Wise) is driving and when everyone else falls asleep, he does too. He crashes the car. He took a shortcut and they don't really know where they are. Frank is with his wife, Laura(Shaye), his daughter Marion(Holden), her boyfriend, Brad and Marion's brother, Richard(Cain). Frank thinks he saw a woman in the forest. She was dressed in white. She approaches them and she looks injured plus she has a baby in her arms. They offer to give her a lift. They ask her questions about how she got there. She doesn't answer them. They find an old cabin and they look around. There is nobody there.

Brad is left in the car with the girl and she tells him that her baby's name is Amy. She tells him that her baby is dead. Frank hears a scream coming from the car and he runs back. Brad has gone. Marion sees him screaming in the back of a black car which has suddenly appeared. They find Brad's dead body on the road. They want to get out of there. They drive off in search of a road out. Their tyre blows and they have to stop. Marion says that she is pregnant. Richard is smoking pot in the woods. He meets a girl and she kisses him. She hurts his mouth. He gets taken away in the black car. They chase it, but it is too late. They find Richard's dead body on the road. Laura is losing it. She is saying weird things. Frank thinks that the woman in white was a ghost.

They have a gun. Laura grabs it and shoots at Frank. She hits him in the leg. Marion and Frank get away from her. She sees people in the woods. They see the black car and Frank shoots at it. Laura dies. Frank is going to kill himself. Marion stops him. She tells him that they need to drive away.  Frank wants to walk through the woods. They find a fence. They think that they have found something but they have been going around in circles. Frank goes mad. He knocks Marion out.
The woman in white shows up and Frank follows her. He gets killed. Marion wakes up and there are shadows everywhere. She walks along the road. She meets the woman in white. She tells Marion that she is not here for her. It turns out that there was a car crash. Marion was the only one who survived. Frank fell asleep and he crashed into a woman and her baby. Police show up and a doctor. He tells her what happened. Marion ends up getting a lift in the black car. Was it all real? The film ends with someone finding a note written by Frank at the scene. We are left wondering was it all real or was it part of the dream....

This was a weird film. The story was odd but that isn't a bad thing at all. I watched this because Ray Wise was in it and I always enjoy his performances. The cast were fine in this. The story was unusual and the twist was not unexpected. I figured it out, but the ending leaves you with the idea that it was  real after all. It was a decent thriller/horror movie. I enjoyed it and there were some eerie scenes.
I recommend this one and I will give it a 6/10.

Summer of '84 Movie Review

Summer of '84 is a 2018 horror movie directed by François Simard, Anouk Whissell and Yoann-Karl Whissell and starring Graham Verchere, Tiera Skovbye and Rich Sommer.

A teenager called Davey(Verchere) is helping a neighbour called Mr.Mackey(Sommer) move some furniture. He sees a locked door in his basement. The year is 1984 and there is a serial killer called the Cape May Slayer on the loose. The killer has disposed of thirteen teenagers. Davey and his friends are discussing it. Davey wonders if Mackey has something to hide. His friends think that he is being silly but Davey starts to watch him. A local kid disappears and he realises that they saw him in Mackey's house when he was spying on him. His face is on a milk carton. Davey and his pals talk about what has happened. Mackey is a cop so they will find it hard to prove his guilt. They look through his garbage but find nothing. Dave has a crush on a girl called Nikki(Skovbye) and he tells her what is happening.

They see Mackey buying a pick axe and bags of dirt. Davey plants a walkie talkie outside Mackey's house, hoping to pick up something incriminating but  Mackie catches him. They dig up his garden but there is nothing there. Davey looks into his shed and the t shirt of the missing teen is in there. Mackey has chemicals in a storage unit. They think that he uses them to dissolve the bodies. Davey tells his parents. They don't believe him at all. They make him go over to Mackey and tell him everything. Mackey seems to treat it as a joke. He has an answer for everything. Davey's friends don't want to spy on Mackey anymore. Mackey calls to see Davey and he says that he wants to make peace. Davey realises that Mackey has lied to him. A news report says that the serial killer has been caught, but Davey doesn't believe that the guy is the actual killer since Mackey caught him. Mackey is being hailed as a hero.

SPOILER ALERT!
Davey wants to break into Mackey's basement for proof that he is the real killer. He takes Nikki and his friend , Woody with him to keep a look out for Mackey. They go down to the basement and there is a dead body in there along with another victim who is not dead yet. They help him to escape. Mackey has photographs of his victims on the wall. There is also a picture of Davey with his family. They go to the police to tell them everything. Mackey disappears. He is hiding in Davey's attic. He comes out at night and he kidnaps Woody and Davey. They  are taken to the woods. He chases them. He catches Woody and kills him. He grabs Davey and he tells him that he will come back and he will get him in the future. He leaves Davey there. Someone finds him and helps him. The movie ends with Mackey still on the loose and Davey waiting for him to return and kill him.

This was a fun film. It was like The Goonies, but a much darker version. It starts out as a mystery film, but as time goes on, it gets a bit darker and the ending makes it more like a thriller. The open ending is interesting also. I enjoyed this a lot. It was set in the 1980's which I really liked and the story was quite fun. I enjoyed the nostalgic feel to this and all in all, it was well worth my time. I definitely recommend it if you haven't seen it already. I will give it a 7/10.

He thinks that Cassandra is just jumpy after seeing the woman in her house. When Fr. Gomez finds out that the woman was La Llorona, he throws them out. He is scared. He has been having visions of the evil woman.

Tiffany and Cassandra find out about La Llorona. She was w woman who killed herself and her children. They think that she is caught in limbo and cannot rest. She does and he promptly kills himself. The movie ends with Cassandra and Tiffany preparing for the baby. When it does come, Tiffany looks at it and it is possessed!!!!

This was a fun film. I liked the story about La Llorona and there was lots happening in this.
The cast did a good job and I liked the three lead characters. The Fr. Gomez character was a little dubious in parts, but he came good in the end !! I liked the ending too. I would certainly recommend this. It is a low budget horror movie but it is well worth a watch. I enjoyed it!! If you would like to see this, you can get it on Amazon Prime.

My favourite movie posters- Psycho(1960)

I want to explore the movie posters that I really like and there is no better way than to start with my favourite film- Psycho. I find some of these posters really great. I love the artwork and it adds to the fun! I don't think there is any need to explain about Psycho as most people will have seen it or at least heard of it, so I won't go into that here. I have chosen a few posters that I like from different countries.

The first one will be very familiar to everyone. I like the yellow lettering and it was the original theatrical poster.

My next one is from Spain and I think it's a great one. I like the shot of the house and I think that the shot of Anthony Perkins is better than the first poster.

This Italian poster is very interesting, I think.I love the shot of the hands coming out to grab her and it makes the film look more like a horror movie.

The last poster I have picked out is this Alfred Hitchcock one. I love these old posters and this makes me smile.

So, I hope that you have enjoyed my pick of Psycho posters. I know there are so many that I could show, but that would take too much time. I like these four and I look forward to showing you many more as I go through all of my favourites!

The dead follow. They get surrounded. Oliovia shows up. Raymar gets Julie and Steve can't stop him. Olivia arrives and stops him. She grabs her mirror and he destroys himself with his eneergy. The dead drop. His power has gone. He is dead(again). Julie and Steve are okay.

This film was quite entertaining. It got a bit slow in the middle, but it picked up near the end. The cast were good and it was good 80's fun. The zombies were so so but I can let that go. I hadn't heard of this film before when I came upon it and it was certainly worth a watch. The setting of the mausoleum was interesting. It was fun seeing Adam West in this. Meg Tilly is young here, but she plays her part well. All in all, this is enjoyable so give it a chance if you like 80's horror. I will give it a 5/10.

Rogue Movie Review

Rogue is a 2007 horror movie directed by Greg McLean and starring Sam Worthington, Radha Mitchell and Michael Vartan.

The movie begins in the Northern Territory in Australia. A crocodile comes out of the water and attacks a cow. It is a big crocodile. An American called Pete McKell(Vartan) is taking a wildlife tour. It is a tour watching crocodiles in the river. He is with a few others. The wildlife expert leading the tour is called Kate Ryan(Mitchell). They see some crocs and meet two guys in the water. They are Neil(Worthington) and Collin. Kate knows them and she moves the tour back to the start. They see a flare in the sky. Kate needs to see if someone needs rescuing. They find an upturned boat and something hits their boat. Their boat fills with water. They have to stop. The radio isn't working. Everyone starts to panic. They need to cross the river.  A crocodile is in the river. Pete is worried.
Neil and Collin pass them, but don't help. The crocodile knocks their boat over and  Collin gets attacked. Neil is okay. They end up on an island in the middle of the river. They need to move though, as by nighttime, the island will be covered with water.

Neil decides to swim across and set up a line for them to climb across.  Neil swims over and he meets the crocodile. He is killed. One of the tourists falls off the line and gets eaten too. Pete finds a huge hook and he wants to keep the croc still while they cross over. They find dead fish to use. They get ready to swim across. The crocodile comes. They have to run for it. Kate is still in the water. The crocodile attacks her. Pete swims to save her. She is gone. Pete finds a cave and he falls down into a cavern filled with water. There are dead bodies there and Kate is in there too. The crocodile is coming back to its lair. He wants his food. The crocodile goes for a sleep. Pete wants to get Kate out. The crocodile wakes up  and chases him. He injures it. He has a spike and he sticks it into the crocodile. He kills it. He carries Kate out and the police have come. The survivors from the tour are there. Kate is airlifted to hospital.

I really liked this film. It was a lot of fun and there were some great scenes with the crocodile. It had a good story and I liked the monster croc. It had a good cast too including John Jarratt! This is a pretty straightforward movie. I mean, it is a story of man versus crocodile but it works very well. I had a good time watching this and I highly recommend it. I enjoyed it a lot. I will give it an 8/10.

The police come and take the dead bodies away. Everything is fine. Right? Wrong. Susan leaves. Martha sees the evil doll in the window of the house as they leave. Poor Paul gets run over by a bus. Happy ending!

This is a weird film. Really weird. Stuff just happens for no reason and the whole thing is very strange. I liked parts of it and there were some creepy scenes, but this is not a great film. It is watchable but the acting is bad and sometimes, it was just silly. Having said that, it was one that I had on my list for quite a while and I am glad that I got around to watching it. Despite the flaws, this is not a bad way to spend 90 minutes. It is a ghost story at heart so I would recommend it as such. I will give this one a 5/10.

The Beast Must Die Movie Review

The Beast Must Die is a 1974 horror movie directed by Paul Annett and starring Peter Cushing, Michael Gambon, Calvin Lockhart, Charles Gray and Anton Diffring.

A  man is being chases by a helicopter. There are cameras everywhere. He is caught and he is shot. A group of people see it. It is not real. It is just a trick. The man is called Tom(Lockhart) and hie a millionaire. He has microphones and cameras installed in his house and the grounds. A man called Pavel(Diffring) installed them. Tom talks to the group of people. He has invited them to his house for a reason. They are all suspected of doing things that are bad. They are Arthur(Gray) who is a diplomat, Paul Foote(Tom Chadbon) who is just out of prison,  Professor Lundgren(Cushing) who is a werewolf expert and Jan Gilmore(Gambon) who is a pianist and his wife Davina(Ciaran Madden). Tom has his wife Caroline(Marlene Clark) with him also. Tom tells them that one of them is a werewolf and he wants to find out who it is.

Lundgren talks about werewolves and he explains how a werewolf comes into being. Jan hands around a silver candlestick to smoke out the werewolf. Lundgren says that there needs to be wolfs bane growing in the area. Tom has it in his greenhouse. Someone tries to kill him. That night, it is a full moon. Tom brings in his wolfs bane and he and Pavel wait to see what will happen. They see something on the camera. Tom goes after it. It goes inside the house and Tom comes back in and finds Pavel dead. He has been killed by the werewolf. Tom looks around for his suspect, Paul, but he is asleep. Davina decides she wants to leave with Jan. Tom disables their car and all of the cars. He cuts off the telephones. He is acting crazy. Tom is obsessed with finding the werewolf. Paul goes missing. Tom gets into his helicopter and goes looking for him. He sees the werewolf. It fights with the dog and it kills the pilot. Tom shoots at it. He is sure that it is Paul.

Tom hands everyone a silver bullet to put into their mouths. It turns out that his wife Caroline, has been turned into a werewolf.. She was infected by the dog who was also bitten. Paul gets killed. The mystery hasn't been solved. Who is the werewolf??? Tom is stalking it. He sees it and follows it. He has one silver bullet left in his gun. There is a fight and Tom manages to kill it. It turns out that the werewolf was....Jan! There is a little snag, though. Tom has been infected!!! The film ends with Tom shooting himself as he does not want to be a werewolf.

This was a very entertaining film. I enjoyed the mystery and trying to work out who the werewolf was. The cast were great and the premise was interesting to me. This is a fun horror movie from Amicus who are better known for their anthologies. Cushing does his job well and I liked Lockhart in his role as Tom. All in all, this is a good horror movie and a mystery also. I would certainly recommend it. I will give it a 7/10.
